this is a great pedal but you have to know how to deal with it....your amp settings are very important...i like it very much...but when i first came out on the stage with it it wa...hmmm....good...but with time you learn how to use it to have a full and rich fuzz sound...sorry on my english...greetings from Croatia

@ASATbomber probably the pharaoh. very thick wall of fuzz, and has multiple clipping modes. very versatile. however if you want scooped mids, this isn't the fuzz for you.

OK, PGS. Fuzz question. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a fuzz I dig. And the only one that comes close to the sound in my head is the Dano CC Fuzz v1. Didn't even like the boutique fuzz it's supposed to resemble. I don't like the mushy, thick sound of most fuzz pedals. I dig the overtones of fuzz, but I like the clarity of the attack like an OD pedal (the last song Andy played in the video is vrey much the kind of tone I like). So, do I just not like what a fuzz pedal is supposed to do?

@artgonewrong It's not outside the range of really good ones... Both the Blackout Effectors Musket and EarthQuaker Devices Hoof are in this range... I suppose if all you want is a simple Muff, than maybe it is a bit much.

That said, I really like what I hear, and it doesn't look terribly complicated either! :) Diggin' the Sabbath Andy!

If you wanna spring for a good quality fuzz, don't go for boss. They'e fuzz box is very low quality, and does not sound too good. If your looking for a more modern fuzz, go for the big muff. For a more classic fuzz, I would go for a fuzz face. I haven't tried the swollen pickle, so I can't comment on that. Hope this helped.
