Be realistic--republicans had the majority for 40 years not the dems. 35 years ago..I built a beautiful home in Jersey..was in it 9 months..my tax bill jumped in one year $1100 increase. I saw the writing on the wall then. East and west coast belong to the world wealthy..not to regular people thanks to my republican party and some dems who are basically fed by the corporate elitist. oh and i just noticed your comment about the bailout, if we didn't bail out AIG and the auto makers, many more jobs would've suffered, the bank system would've collapsed, and it would've been another depression. This government "bailout" is not going to keep the average American from losing their job, having their mortgage foreclosed on, and drying up the possibilities of them being able to borrow money. This buyout only benefits the rich. There is now a 2-tiered system in the US, consisting of the super-rich, and everybody else.
