Unbelievable I bought GAP grass about 15 years ago. Took it out from the storage the other day. I think it kept its scent unlike my CkOne or Eternity that turned into alcohol.

Have you tried Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca? If you love the smell of freshly cut grass, this must be one of the best out there. Its marketed as a scent that smells like grass with green tea and mint.

BTW, I love your choice for #2. I adore it, but there's a lot of haters out there.

Just got answer to own question. Didnt think they would fake Issey miyake summer 09 cause not as popular as l'eau d'issey. Received mine today definitely fake. No code stamped on bottom of box and I scanned barcode and a completely different product is listed beware!

what sets Dior Homme Sport apart from Chanel Allure Homme Sport apart from the lemon vs orange?

Heard they are pretty similar. Ive sampled Dior and i really liked it. just wondering what put Chanel 2 spots above it.

Marc - great summer reviews. A few comments:

- I agree Marc Jacobs is a very nice summer fragrance. It's a shame that this underrated fragrance has gotten little attention in comparison to Bang. - Bleu de Chanel is a nice versatile fragrance. Love the ginger and drydown.

- I like Versace Eau Fraiche and probably would have placed it higher, whereas with Roadster, I'd drop it down a bit. Like the mint, but it disappears pretty quickly for me.

- What happened to Le Male Summer??

Marc thanks for a your reviews!! Thanks to you I picked up Cartier roadster last week and I LOVE it!! Haven't had a chance to wear it yet but I can't wait till it cools down so I can. Also I am very amazed at your olfactory progression!! It is very hard to get excited about summer scents because they typically aren't very complex. But for you to actually compose a top 20 list of great summer scents(designer no less) is amazing!!

First off, I'm VERY HAPPY to see Eau de Cartier get some much deserved love! It's a total sleeper frag thats been overlooked far too long. You MUST review that gem of a fragrance Marc!

Secondly and most importantly, WHERE THE HELL WAS YSL's L' HOMME!?!?! Surely you would agree it surpasses that mediocre as hell, Bleu de Channel!?!?

i have to agree about chanel homme edition blanche. not good in heat and humidity. starts to smell like dirty laundry. great projection although not so good if you are planning to workout. good thing i only had a sample. i heard great news for many but didnt work for me.

Cool list bro. Thx for not leaving out the fragranceheads. My personal top summer is Allure Homme Sport although I agree its a heavy hitter and not the best in the heat, heat due to its heavy base, but very nicely done. Its a summer fragrance on steroids. Also good to point out how certain fragrances may carry differently in humid or non humid thin weather, most dont know that. Dior homme sport is another favorite of mine.

Thank you SO MUCH for putting Versace Pour Homme so far up there and giving it its due! Everytime I've worn that this summer, I hate the top and wonder why I put it on. But after an hour or so, it gets soooo sweet and the citrus calms down, beautiful! Definite lady-killer. In fact, a coworker of mine said her back arched involuntarily when she smelled it on me a few feet away, so...yeah :)

Hey Marc! Have you tried L'Eau Bleue d'Issey Pour Homme? I think it is a great summer scent. Top notes are rosemary, lime, mandarin orange and orangewood; middle notes are cypress, ginger, juniper berries, pink pepper and lavender; base notes are sandalwood, amber, patchouli, atlas cedar and oakmoss.

Yes! Versac Pour Homme FINALLY got some attention. It's my go to summer scent. It also might be my signature scent- but I live in Minnesota so.. It might not be able to handle the cold. But it should do good at school.

I also own Versace Man Eau Fraiche, and I thought I'd be wearing it every day in the summer. But I've only worn it about 5 or 6 times in the whole 4 months I've owned it.

I also own Chanel Bleu, and Allure Homme Sport.. Love them both!

Great Video Robes! I own Allure Edition Blanche and grew pretty quickly tired of it, it is classy, but I think Bleu is a bit better all rounder. Bleu is definitely underrated. I have to try to Marc Marc Jacobs!
