There are those who by their life, the way they smile or greet(can't forget that strong handshake and sometimes strong piercing words), the heartistic concern they have for one's being...make me think of the presence of Jesus. Paul, along with his beloved wife Christel always shone the light in my darkest hour.
...a miracle I'm grateful for is the life of Paul Werner. I know he shall always be a shining light in the spiritual world and paving the way for the True Parents of mankind.
What a fitting tribute to a saint and patriot. Some day, his sacrifices will be known to the rest of the world. I pray he will find the rewards and the joy he deserves for all his suffering and sacrifice. God bless and comfort Christel, his wife, and all his family. He goes to prepare a place for us, I know. "Paul," as he always unpretentiously wanted to be known, is one of the Fathers of the Faith. He was as German as the Rhine and radiated strength. I remember witnessing on a bitterly cold evening in Essen in the winter of 1975. He came to see how we were all doing, bundled up as we were against the elements. He was wearing a light, short-sleeved cotton T-shirt, mocking the freezing cold. Christel, as ever and always, was right next to him.
Paul Werner, I am glad I had the priveledge to know you, a great champion for God's providence. Thank you for pioneering the way for many of us to follow the Messiah.

Truly a legend.
