banozora, i used bike spokes to make mine and they work great....i wish i had some that were a bit thicker but i dont have that luxury...so for now im practicing with the bike spokes...eventually i will get something a bit thicker

get a bunch of "tent-pegs" and cut the hook off and sharpen the other end. . . Perfect shuriken

I turned this on and was like no shit! I made those same exact things a few weeks ago lol. Bench grinder and saw made six 8 inch shuriken from a 1/8 inch thick 4' rod.

Check out some other videos also, but FYI, traditional Bo Shuriken look just like those but they are traditionally 9 inches long and needles are 6 inches long. but im only assuming you didnt know the name for them so just like people who call them throwing spikes you called them needles. ANYWAYS just remember 9" is to Bo Shuriken and 6" is to needles. look for other videos on how to throw them.

@808vampire Depending on what throwing needles or knifes you have really? its all different and depending on the weight. Erm Try Holding The Pointed Side (If The Both Arent pointed Already). With The 4finga And FU finger and Also Thumb. Then Bring Your Hand Up To Your Shoulder And Throw Back To The Full Extent Of Your Arm. Straight Out Ahead Of You. Or If That Doesnt Work. (Same With Fingers.) Raise Your Throwing Hand Up and Over Your Head And Bring It Back Down Fast. Then Realese.?

you cold buy a file it takes longer but it works just fine.try the ones used for sharpening lawn mower blades there like five bucks.

Hey not a bad idea on those umbrella struts. it's one idea i haven't yet thought of. how about trying bike spokes, straightened coat hangers, paper clips, marker flag stakes, and or store rod racks as a few more ideas? they all work very well with me. but if they get any thicker i would consider them Bo. sky's the limit huh?
