  • wow this looks extreme. i juss wanted to see how it was done. is there like a dancing workout? my girl likes to dance and i know shes tryna lose weight an all. i tell her i like her the way she is. she jus lil thick. but um yea does this workout really done alot for you? and is there some kind of dancing workout?

  • @Kylemad01 Hi Kyle, This works, but there isn't any dancing. I HIGHLY recommend ROckin Body if she likes to dance. It's fun and surprisingly ends up a great workout! I can send you the info if you want. It's on my website. Best to you!

  • You get it girl - I started my day one of Insanity and P90X Hybrid. I did the fit test today, along with chest and back and ab ripper - tomorrow is Insanity Plyo Cardio Circuit - after watching you I know tomorrow is going to be hella intense, but keep pushing play- right? :)

I noticed I posted this 2 weeks ago & happy to report I am on week 3 day 2 - did my fit test yesterday all my numbers improved. :) I am noticing that I am lasting a little longer when it comes to the Insanity tapes so my stamina is definitely increasing. This is just the beginning though -have a lot to overcome in the next 10 weeks. Feel free to contact me and keep my posted on your progress. I always seems to get distracted around the 30 day mark !

  • Man that stuff looks fun. I'm on my 8th week of P90X right now, and planning on starting Insanity right after I'm done with the 90 days. The plyo and the cardio stuff in p90x is getting a bit boring. The variety of different moves looks fun, or maybe just watching you do it made it look fun haha I don't know! :)

  • Hi! Thanks for sharing the video. Is it alright to do this work out on carpet? I noticed the works in the video are done on hardwood floors.

  • I'm kinda of a weird situation... I did martial arts barefoot for years and so I think my legs and feet muscles are used to it... I can't say I recommend it if everyone in the vid uses supportive shoes and hard floors.

  • Hi Rex! I have done P90X. I plan to go back to it but next is either Chalean Extreme or Revabs :) Did you do P90x?

  • I haven't done P90X yet. I'm just a year out of open heart surgery for a bad aortic valve and have only been back in the gym for about 4 months. Got the green light for Insanity so I'm going to do that first and then will do P90X.

  • Which workout did/do you recommend between P90X or Insanity? I appears that Insanity is more intense. I have Shaun T's Hip Hop Abs and I LOVE his workouts. He has a way of motivating you!

  • They are both INTENSE. But P90X incorporate weights and a pullup bar. Insanity is all about bodyweight exercises. I have both and recommend both, but right now, I am preferring Insanity. I will go back to P90X to sculpt. Some people are actually creating their own program by mixing them!

  • Hey, I just finished the P90X first month, then I am going to do P90X Plus workout.I am probably going to get the Insanity workout next.

    My question is: does the insanity workout increase your jumping more than P90X?I am jumping higher than I have in my life from the P90X.If the Inasnity plyo is even better than that then I will be amazed.

  • For me, the Insanity workout WAY increased my jumping more than P90X. P90X got me more defined and cut, especially in my arms and shoulders... but my jumping is huge with Insanity. I leaped to catch a few outs in an over the line game recently...

I mean peeps in the video are like later and taking breaks. lol! pure cardio looks the hardest of the workouts for this week. keep you informed I will prolly die on the floor then be back up.   • Everyone jumping on the Insanity train! I did the fit test yesterday I died! not as bad as i though but still pretty intense. I think they should call it deranged. You look great. I can just imagine myself today with the first real workout. I will be dieing. I was pretty amped up for hrs though. I liked that feeling.

  • Tell me how the first workout was! :) Stick with it! I can see such an improvement in my form and endurance after 5 weeks for sure!

    I did P90x hardcore earlier this year and am now working on a Cathe Friedrich weight lifting routine until Insanity comes!!

    I think this adds a different component to working out than P90x - and both should be done to get serious results.

    I can't wait to get this!

    But I can not do it.

    I think that I streached a groin muscle

    while doing the fit test.

    So I will have to wait for 2 weeks or until I feel better. am going to post this on my facebook.

  • LOVE IT! I did p90x too, but not as strict and hardcore as I am doing insanity. Depends on what you are looking for. I LOVE IT! I love that it is just straight forward, challenging, sweat inducing challenge! No WEIGHTS needed... just you yourself and the dvds (maybe a heart rate monitor and plyo mat) You can alwasy watch the rest of my videos to see the day to day progress :)

    The cool thing is with every beachbody product, you can try it for 30 days and if you don't like it, return it.

  • hi!! i just saw the infomercial on tv and decided to do some homework on it before ordering. your workout is sooo motivating.. i could you see u breaking sweat.. i guess this does work.. if you dont mind me asking... have you notice any difference from before til now?

  • Hi! Definitely works! The workout takes the guesswork out of timing etc... but it makes you work! :) It's crazy how the sweat just pours like waterworks off my face once I do the initial warmups and then the first stretch. It's only been 2.5 weeks and I haven't noticed too much scale change, but everything seems like's it's pulling in. I will take pictures midway through and a the end. My fit test performance improved ( you take it every 2 weeks)

  • im curious as to one thing...they say to do your max reps and what not...say you can do more then what they do on the video, do you have to pause the video to finish up and then resume and move on to the next work.? as the same if you do way less?

  • Basically, just 'go for time'. Most of the exercises are 1 minute or 30 seconds each. If you timing is off, too slow or too fast, you just end up doing more or less than them in the time alloted. No video pausing. Does that help?

  • nice... i just completed... 2 weeks of it, rest day tomorrow..... that means 2 more weeks to complete a full month..... its a killer but even tougher then p90x , and chalean workout

  • I noticed you did it without shoes, is that okay? I don't wear shoes in my house so that's why I haven't done the workout yet.

  • you know for some, it might not be, but I was in martial arts for 5 years and am used to working out with out my shoes. I recommend for others some cross trainers. Maybe buy some new ones and just use them in the house so that they aren't dirty.

  • Well talked to one of my friends on here and he said i should go threw p90x and p90x+ then try this as he has done them and tried insanity ahah... Goal i have well in the last 2 years (aug will be 2 years) ive lost 245 pounds and just kinda want to take my wieght lose and build muscle to the next step.. Did some of chalean and some jillian michels 30 day shred. BUt mostly core training circuit but not super intense but steady.

    I think once the full Insanity program is out, we can determine best for you. Insanity has a resistance program, but I am unsure how it compares to P90X. P90X sounds a lot like what you have already done, steady and with core training. Insanity is 'push hard, sweat hard consistently with little rest. High rep, high intensity.'

  • So since you did that workout and do p90x im setting up to do one or the other and still not sure which i want to order.. Both look amazing and crazy.. Any info or help would be great.. If you get the time

  • I think it all comes down to the level of intensity you want to put forth. P90X is extreme and meant for 90 days. Insanity is higher intensity for a shorter time, 60 days... What are your goals? Where are you now?

  • So you got to do one set.. Looks amazing.. Cant wait till this comes out to hear peoples take on this vs p90.. Both look great and up on what one i wantt o order.. But gonna go with X since this one isnt out yet... Great progress and thanks for the update and show looks fun.

  • Thanks! I watched the video the other day without working out to it and was glad to see that the uber-fit people on the video were smoked near the end too. I think I did okay for my first Insanity workout too :)
