Jennifer Connelly is a brilliant actress. I really like her calmness. She delivers her emotions perfectly well, very effortless. She's also one of the most beautiful actresses I've seen in Hollywood. I really wish she will win even just one Oscars or Golden Globe best actress award. She totally deserves it!

This movie has some heart wrenching scenes that make you believe that they are not acting. It just gets under your skin.

Jennifer Connelly is just amazingly convincing. I doubt that any other actress would've done better.

I watched this yesterday, I wasn't expecting too much. But wow, definetley one of the best movies I have ever seen. The coflicted emotions it makes you feel, is really overwhelming.

And silly me watched whilst getting ready to go out, needless to say I had to do my eye make up again lol.

I first read the book and was totally blown away by how well it was written, I didn't want it to end. Now that I have seen the trailer of the movie and notced that they added some sex scenes, I'm hesitant of wanting to see it and only to erase the good memory I have from the book.

Here is this proud Iranian father who had fled with his family to the US following the deposing of the Shah. He bought a house at auction because the previous owner hadn't paid her property taxes. Excellent story.
