genius ... im lucky to have been to his museum while he was still alive. my grandfather was from the same province & was a classmate & friend of dali's. blows my mind to think about it
I like to know who has the rights to this video so that I can use it in my classes if that is OK. Thre is a couple of things tha I would edit out and there fore I want to go through the proper channels to do so. Let me know.
This is an amazing video to go with an amazing song, I just wish the whole song would've played, at 3.25 you skip a few lines of it, the main 'climax' you could call it. Other than that this video compliments the song incredibly well.
Sounds cool... but there's a Spanish Group, Mecano, that wrote a song honoring him called "Eungenio Salvador Dalí" whose melody is as good as this one's, and whose lyrics kick absolute ass... too bad it would get all lost in the translation.
why would u play this gay shitty music to a salvador dali montage. this aint trippy at all this is some faggy pop bullshit. put some floyd in there or mayb hendrix not some shit by madona while shes gettin fucked doggy style by some black dick that just got out of prison. thats honestly what it sounds like to me
@robertmaxwellproduce it is some pretty disonant guitar notes. Don't let the media tell you what trippy is. Trippy isn't just for hippies. You know something is trippy when you are so far gone in complexities that the most basic thing can trip you out. Like a plate of eggs.
@miceskin i know theres more trippy shit than that man, go to new york, and see it live. the problem is its not popular anymore because of gay shit that took over like this shit. thers bands so good like floyd now that get no recognition.
@miceskin well u could start at medeski martin and wood, they have become more popular now, but i remember when nobody knew them. hah most of the trippy bands i saw in ny i dont remember the names cuz you know...
@robertmaxwellproduce - Wow you're so indy. You are so informed about bands and events before they cool, and some of the gems that are still uncool. I'm impressed with how awesome you are.
@robertmaxwellproduce- I think believe before you label an artist (in this case Jeff Buckley) as "gay shitty" you should at least do a little research on what else he's done. For instance he did "I woke up in a strange place" a cover of "Hallelujah" (a Leonard Cohen song) "Lover you should have come over" and "Grace". You still might not like any of it. But vocally the man is a legend, and artistically, a genius in his own right. I think your assessment is a little unfair.
this is just wonderful..one of my favourite singers+fav artists together..it works wonderfully, many thanks...if anyone gets the chance go to the Dali museum in Cadiz Spain, its awesome!
Ey, brillante, yo quería hacer algo similar, pero en lugar de poner tanto tiempo en tratar de que salga bien, lo aprovecharé para ver esta belleza. Felicitaciones

WOW! u did a gr8 on this vid. I am a JB fan, so a double WOW on the vid! What a dream-like song, paired with the dream-like/surreal images Dali used to paint. GOOD JOB! bravO!
I've been a couple of times already ,in past years :but i'm gonna go again here , soon - to the Salvador Dali museum in St.Pete ,Fl. They are always rotating his works there ,but I think it's the biggest collection of his work - in 1 place . I'm dragging my parents there ,as they've never been .
The music you have on your video goes good w/pics. : nice job !
my girlfriends mother is an 'artist' and i questioned her as to why artists dont strive for great technique, she said it was 'old'. fact is dali was the last of the greats.
I prefer Dali's darker paintings, and i would go for Vladamir Kush's stuff for a more beautiful sureal picture...but this is a great video...and a brilliant song!
As a fan of both Dali and Buckley's work this video is a great tribute to both artists. I believe Jeff wrote and sang music very similar to how Dali created art. Thought provoking, sometimes terrifying, and absolutely beautiful all at once.
Not Bad.If you want, you can check out my homage video, made solely from Dali's paintings. The music was a real lucky find (a background scenery music in an obscure kids show-les Mondes Engloutis, but it reminds me more of crematorium music-realy chilling and macabre)
really this is great. highlights his most well know work yet also shows his lesser know stuff. love the inclusion of destino. the music worked very well too. i really liked this.
Remarkable!!! This is by far the best Dali tribute I have ever seen!!! Every aspect of this piece works. From the music, to the choice of art work and photos chosen. BRAVO!!!
