  • this is a short clip from the OKW movie Men Against Tanks

  • Makes Me want to play Close Combat III.

  • why are those Germans so dark. they look like panzerfaust niggers.

  • @MustNotRead

Because they are covered with dirt, smoke, and the blood of their enemy.

  • T-34 is thick enough before German deploy enough pak 40, panzerfaust, panzerschreck, and Panzer 4 with 75 mm L/48. However their losing rate is still higher compared to German tanks even before any longer barrel 75 mm became common. This is due to better training of German AFV crews and two man turret of T-34 which hamper their effectiveness.

  • The first AT weapon looks like a 10.5cm Leichtgeshutz. Bassically in English terms a 105mm Recoiless Rifle AT Weapon. The Wheels have been removed for a lower silouhette.. tactic used to get low HULL penetrating hits. and it helps hide the crew.

  • @JuergenGDB 8.8 cm Raketenwerfer 43, 88 mm calibre reusable anti-tank rocket launcher

  • properganda ftw

  • T-34s glacis plate was (0.71in-2.36in) thick...

however it being well sloped basically added another inch or two. Same concept with 'Panther'.

  • T34 armor wasn't very thick, about 2-3 inches at best...easy to penetrate

  • well not really because the armor was sloped in so low angle that the projectile would bounce of pretty often

  • Frontal armor had a good slope tho

  • was it an early version of a Recoiless rifle???

  • the first weapon shown was acually very rarely used.

  • First weapon shown was an AT gun...
