@TyroneBigumms i had the same problem but all i did was do steps 3-5 again and it worked for me un plug controller run ps3sixaxis_en.exe then plug in controller run ps3sixaxis_en.exe again then press the ps button thats what he didnt mention hope this helps

it took me a while but i got mine to work, if you install the six axis driver and then launch it and then plug in your controller it should work. (after you install the file shown in the video).

Just a big FYI... If you use a wireless keyboard or mouse do not attempt. It overwrites HID drivers and will cause you some issues. Learned from experience. If you make the mistake of trying this you will have to have all of your wirelss devices connected and uninstall the HID/USB drivers for all devices. Unplug the PS3 controller and restart. You may want to have a ps2 compatible keyboard nearby when doing it...

Okay I've found another method that seems to be more stable, or less intrusive on the inner workings of the PC. Its using the MotionJoy-DualShock3 Drivers. I'll comment back whether it works or not.

You guys also do have to remember to disconnect the controller from the PS3 by holding the PlayStation button and turning off the controller. Then connect it your computer normally and press the PS button once.

If you have a 64 bit Operating system then you can use 64 bit.

64 bit is Faster then 32 bit BUT If you don't have a 64 bit operating system then You can't run it.

If you are not sure what Operating system you have then just do 32 bit because it's safer.

If you go to your primary hard drive which is Most Likely C: and you see an X86 folder then chances are your on 64 bit.

@MrZw1231 your controller blanks cuz its in active/reconizing mode which alows it to be used on a cpu on a ps3 active mode is only use to turn it on then it switches to on mode the window that pops up and goes away dead fast that activates the controller that puts it into a capatible active mode les just say that app turns it on any way dont worry i had this on my laptop for 2 years its fully normal just chill and play ur game mines san andreas ps this works with any pc game known to man:)
