1. This is an anime. If you want logic, CC somehow psychologically implements the very basics of his power during that moment. Or during the power transfer, Lelouch's sub-conscious understands the very basics of it.

2. Have you not watched the show? Lelouch swore revenge against Britannia when he was discarded. He mentions at the end of this clip that all is a lie, showing that now he has power to move onward. And he does.

Spelt Nunnally wrong too :3 But at this stage in time nothing was official when they dubbed at the time like half the subbers thought Kallen was actually Karen. So they were going by gut instincts at the time. Like when F.L.E.I.J.A.(Field Limitary Effective Implosion Armament, pronounced "Freya") Came into play they left it as Freya to begin with before the official name came out.

The reason for this,as i heard it, comes from that the subers had a hard time figuring out that he said since the word really doesn't exist in japan, and they had a hard time hearing exactly what he said, in later episodes it became more obvious. So if you look at the earliest subs, they have the same issue. However new ones have corrected it.

I dont know this is true, i learned this from hear say. Might be wrong.

Lelouch never becomes evil per say, seeing as how he was planning to overthrow Britannia regardless of the Geass. His motives are (compared to Raito's) pure. But, unlike Raito, Lelouch does it for his family and doesn't abandon his values, and when the time comes, Lelouch chooses his family over his more direct target. At the end of DN, I thought it was only suitable for Raito to die... But with CG, I really hoped Lelouch would win.
