There is proof that humans have emitted vast amounts of CO2, there is proof that CO2 acts as a greenhouse gas, and there is proof that recent rises in CO2 have correlated with rises in temperature. @MrOTLChamp The reason why this warming trend is different is because we could account for changes in climate in the past (for example, increase/decrease in solar radiation , volcanic eruption etc). None of those factors however account for the recent warming trend, except for carbon dioxide, which is increasing in the atmosphere, which is known for its warming properties.
