  • I still want Miss Piggy to finally turn up and beat the crap out of this mouse. And Elton's standing there saying "Ladies? Ladies. Ummm, there's something you should know before you kill each others because of me..."

  • I wondering what if Elton John hits on Oswald's girl, Ortensia. Oswald will be a pissed off rabbit if he ever sees Elton John with his girlfriend. Also a bit confused too because Elton supposed to be gay.

  • what is the name of the movie this was from ?

  • Okay........ I thought the one with Miss Piggy was disturbing enough.... Now, this one... Weird...

  • I remember when I first saw this on tv.I was in the third grade.I think about this all the time still till this day.I'm so glad that it's on youtube.Whoever downloaded this, thank you!

  • waaait wait wait...ok shouldnt it be MICKEY that Elton is after?? NOT minnie? unless he wants her heels

  • 2:10 : if i was mickey i'd just give up: you just can't compete with Elton John.

  • @ShadyMunsterr

    Damn right!!

  • Mickey probably would said to Elton John, "Are you hitting on my girl, dickweed? And I thought you only like guys because you're gay."

  • Pérola de infância! rsrs

  • Screw Glee!!! Besides the original, THIS is the best rendition ever!!!

  • I hope Elton plays this for his son. :)

  • I remember watching this on tv with my mom and sister when I was very little! Wonderful memories! Thank you, Elton and Minnie!

  • I can't believe I found this!! the last time I saw this I was 6 yers old.....Thank you for uploading :-))

  • TheDrpippi: Well, actually the panty shot from 1:10 to 1:12 is actually tame in comparison to the mice's earlier work, because here, she tries to cover herself for her slip-up, whereas in the 1930's, Minnie was known for using her bloomers as a parachute when she jumped from airplanes & using them as a sail when she would go boating/rafting.

  • i wonder what mickey thinks of this..

  • Lol, this just horrified all of my friends.

I, actually, loved this as a kid, but now I understand how crazy this video really is!

  • kiki dee eat your heart out who's with me

  • ahhhhh i loved this bit of the film... i want this on dvd but cant find it anywhere :(

  • Mickey: Were you staring at Minnie?

    Elton: No.

    Questioning ends there.

  • nostalgia BOMB

    ... I think..

  • omg, i used to love watching that on video all the time as a kid, when my mum taped over it i had such a strop! thanks for uploading!! :)

  • i love u so much for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE U SOOO MUCH! MINNIE MOUSE AND ELTON JOHN TOGETHER! WHAT ELSE CAN BE BETTER?!?!?!?!?! MINNIE MOUSE IS THE SHIIIIII**! FING LOVE THAT MOUSE! SHE'S MAKING ME CRAZY!

  • I remember this when I was a little kid... It was a part of a Mickey birthday special, Disney Channel was not on standard cable, and around the same time they aired it to advertise so people can order it...

One thing I noticed after the nostalgia trip: Minnie gets annoying giggling before or after nearly every lyric.

  • That last part felt like a vintage porno was about to start. I've been having my head in the gutter for too long. >_>

  • loved this film but could u tell me wat it was called

  • Minnie has the Hots for a Gay Guy LOL.

  • This is the cutest thing I've ever seen! <3

  • LOL, Mickey looked pissed in that crystal ball part XD

  • @Metamorpha Like Master, Like Apprentice. He actually copied Master Yen Sid's expression.

  • Minnie mouse was so hot back in the 80's... Was it just me???

  • I've been looking for this for months. Thanks for posting it!!

  • i remember watching this as a child! this was always my favorite scene. :)

  • Pedophiles.

    Yes, you!

  • Sorry Minnie, you can't hold a candle to Miss Piggy when it comes to singing with Elton. (in fact I'm just jealous, me want a duet with him, too...)

  • That was brilliant! I haven't watched that clip since

I was a kid, and I just love it! Good on Elton John having a sense of humour...back then at least. I wonder what happened to it??

  • damn! no one messes with mickey's girl! mickey looked PISSED! It kinda scared me dude! lol!

i bet he's like "MINNIE IS MY GIRL!" XD

  • I thought those heart shaped glasses were so cool back in the day, I had to have a pair of those...except mine were sunglasses :) And I punched out the lenses :) lol and this is how I came to love this song...

  • Don't worry Mick, Elton won't be putting any moves on your girl...

  • my favorite favorite part of this whole thing!!! it makes me happy to watch this.

  • My FAVORITE part of the movie!!! I watched this on my 4th Birthday in '89 and you couldn't tell me NOTHING! Lol

  • HAHAHAHHA Mickey is PISSED at 2:07

  • where the hell is mickey??!!...at least he ain't gay :P

  • Look at 2:07

i thought there should be mickey somewhere in that music vid. he was going to kill elton for stealing his girl XD

  • Look at 2:07...

  • yeah i know lol

but thats the only time he atcually appeared in this special (besides the cartoons)

  • Why couldn't it be Mickey driving the car instead of that strong man?

  • This is hilarious, my sister and i loved this when we were little. Minnie must of done somthing WRONG cuz she turned Elton out, lol!

  • It's not Elton Mickey should be worried about. It's those body builders in 2:52 posing with Minnie XD

  • This is a good 80's disney song from Elton John and Minnie Mouse and a good music video too.

  • i love this video!

  • lol mickey's ticked! 2:09

  • I wrote to disney years ago to put this on dvd . ugh oh well i hope they do. but really thx for the memory. Peace

  • Comment removed

  • i love this song i remember seeing this movie with my nephe when it came out

  • This is awesome!!

  • whoa i've never seen this b4

  • I watched this when I was a kid but what was it from?

  • ....Check the title again, it was from Totally Minnie, a television only special.

  • I want go breaking your heart.....promise

  • bless her, minnie mouse is so cute, gotta love her!!

  • Thanks a lot for uploading this. I remember watching this a LONG time ago and almost forgot it existed.

  • The animation is pretty good here blending with live action...the animated figure actually has a SHADOW! Some CGI figures dont even do that!

  • 'Relax Mickey, he ain't going take your girlfriend.'

Actually, given that Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor voice act for the mouse couple, that the mouse couple in question were considered the alter-agos of Walt Disney & Lillian Disney, and that Walt himself said--in 1939--that "in the studio we have decided that they are married", Mickey & Minnie are privately married, keeping their "real lives" outside of their working relationship.

  • LOL Yeah. Someone should tell Mickey Elton doesn't swing that way XD

  • @Dragonrider1227: Well, this song was made before Elton's coming out was readily-available public knowledge, although the dance moves and outfit may be a dead giveaway, according to stereotype, though.

But since the song, "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart", it's only natural that if Minnie is involved, she's doing this to make Mickey jealous, not like how she would flirt with Mickey's rival, Mortimer.

  • @TherealRNO True. Very True

  • @Dragonrider1227: That said, despite the jealousy & ignoring sexual orientation (it doesn't matter, because like hair color, eye color, bellybuttons, etc. everyone has a sexual orientation), Elton is still a consumate (i.e. highly gifted & talented) performer. Minnie isn't half bad in this rendition of the song, either. XD

  • @TherealRNO Damn straight Elton john is highly talented :D

And yeah, this is my favorite version of the song

Funny how I keep running into you around here XD

  • @Dragonrider1227: And on DA, too. Let's just say we share similar tastes (SatAM, old cartoon Disney, classic Nick, Kid's WB, & other childhood memories, for example).

  • @TherealRNO very true

  • @Dragonrider1227: Yep. And being members of that tomboy club, also. But we're not the only ones. Many of our generations (80's/90's) would have similar tastes, naturally. It's why DA has many classic clubs devoted to shows, even if the executives of those big corporations don't think people care about the olden days. Oswald coming back from obsecurity shows Disney otherwise. Ditto for Nick via "The 90's Are All That" airing this fall on TeenNick & the Cartoon Cartoons being back on CN. XD

  • Dragon: The classics do NOT die. They just become "old" & then, forgotten with the passage of time. It's why age-old traditions like The Sensational Six--Mickey, Minnie, & the rest--the Looney Tunes, The Muppets (from Sesame Street on through to Fraggle Rock), et al have tried to stay relevant to the changing times.

  • @TherealRNO sweet!

  • thank you thank you! i havn't seen it since i was 11!! this is win!

  • 2:10 Mickey sure looks pissed off :D Relax Mickey, he ain't going take your girlfriend.

  • Minnie is a good singer

  • I can't BELIEVE someone else remembers this and put it on You Tube!!! OMG, I used to rock out to this...Lol I even had the Totally Minnie perfume! This is great!

  • i never knew Minnie could sing thats outstanding singing Go Minnie!

  • Her look! It's so 80's! :D XD

  • OMG, I haven't seen this in years! I'm so glad someone put it on youtube!

  • this has always been my favorite part of the whole show!

  • And this was before Elton John did the music for The Lion King.

  • About 7 years before The Lion King to be exact.

  • Amazing LOL! Totally 80s...

  • Too bad Mickey was busy doing "Mickey's 60'th Birthday" otherwise he would be ready to kill Elton John right now.

  • Relax Mickey, Elton John doesn't swing that

    way.

  • MICKEY: Still, they could of sang another song besides this.

ME: Dude, have you evr heard of celeberty crushes???

    MICKEY: nooooo--yes.

  • Yay! I loved this show as a kid. My mom recorded it for me and I would watch it 2-3 a week. I'm sure she knows it as well as I do!

  • OMG!!! This is brill, i had this on video when i was a kid. It bugged me 4 years, all my friends were like " Elton John did not sing wiv Minnie Mouse" followed by laughter, but in my mind i could c them singin this song. Thought i was going mad LOL!!! Thats why i love and know this song. Thank u at last i can prove it. Im from the UK and it wasnt on alot here.

  • They don't make 'em like they used to...

  • I enjoyed this special on the disney channel. Thanks for posting.

  • poor mickey, minnie never duets with him. did she?

  • Yeah, she did in the 1931 short cartoon "Blue Rhythm".

  • mickey is ready to just kill elton!!! lol!!! byebye!!!

  • I read that Russi Taylor used this song as part of her audition for the voice of Minne Mouse.

  • It really came back to me now! I watch it when I was a kid. I wish it was on DVD someday!

  • I know! It should be on DVD!

  • OMG! I remember this from when I was a kid. That's why I love this song!

  • Minnie cheating on Micket with Elton?!...Oh, wait. Yeah.

  • "What do you expect, Eltons is trying to score with Mickeys gal."

True, but Minnie herself wasn't helping matters any!

  • mickey looks super pissed in the fortune telling scene

  • What do you expect, Eltons is trying to score with Mickeys gal.

  • I don't think he will be scoring with any gals anytime soon

  • lol

  • @ArtistaLuvNYC True that he's gay, but all the girls love him.

  • I don't think so! Remember that Elton john's gay.

  • thats right! lol!

  • LOL, I think they did that on purpose on account of Elton stealing his girl!

  • thank's for this video ^^

  • my mom taped this off of tv when it was on years ago...i remember watching this minnie mouse special over and over and over! it was my favorite movie...

  • as a kid growing up these days, i wish disney channel was presented by people. not just a voice. watching totally minnie and mickey mouse club, i wish they were still around!

  • aww... it's too bad they don't make TV shows like this any more!

  • aww... it's too bad they don't make TV shows like this any more!

  • OMG!!! my childohood is there...*.*

  • This was so cute.

  • It would've been cooler if Elton John did this song with Gadget from Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers!

  • Maybe, but I recon it would've interesting if Elton John did this song with Hyacinth Hippo. You know. the lead hippo dancer in the Dance of the Hours score in Disney's 1940 film Fantasia.

I recon that would've been absolutely hilarious. Don't you recon?

  • I WORSHIP YOU FOR POSTING THIS! Where did you get the files? This was my favorite FAVORITE TV special ever!

  • I made the files ;) I had it on tape, hooked up the VCR to the computer and uploaded!

  • This one of my favorite songs from Elton thank you so much for postin this ;)

  • Wish I was Minnie.. ;)

  • GREAT!! Love it, it's very sweet! Minnies voice!! Thank u so much for posting! Which year was this?

  • this video it´s great, very fun and cool jajaja

  • I remember that song from that special, wow! I've seen that since I was a youngster. But that song was later used in "Ella Enchanted" and "Chicken Little". I have the original with Kiki Dee on my iPod.

  • now this is something I haven't seen before......... its GREATTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is my favorite part too! I think Minnie and Elton are cute together!

  • What a fun version with Elton John

  • What a fun version with E

  • OMG thank you for posting this!!!!!! i haven't seen this since i was five! i had it recorded on a VHS but it probably got thrown away years ago. i wish i still had it. this brings back so many memories...

  • Obscure Disney Continuity Note: This segment and the now-dismantled "hand" on EPCOT's Spaceship Earth are the only times that Sorcerer Mickey has been depicted using a wand. In Fantasia he simply wiggled his fingers.

  • I don't think Kiki Dee was on that special. Minnie should be taking over Kiki's place. They also have that song in a Disney animated film "Chicken Little". I'll send it to Hank Hayes and PeteRFNY for this one.

  • This is my favorite part!!!!

  • There's a good way to introduce the kids to Elton John! : )

  • Yeah, this was how I was introduced to him! And I think it was a lot of kids' favorite part... Whenever I hear this song, I expect to hear Minnie sing the girl part.

  • My 3 year old liked it! When was this on originally? 84 or 85?

  • 1988. I'll put it in the description of part one.

  • That was broadcast on The Magical World of Disney on NBC in 1988...

  • Minnie can sure find the right guys.

  • Thanks for the Ride Big Boy!
