In the Orthodox church (and Catholic)there are no women priests ,but there are women nuns that run their own church and do everything except the ceremony.Women cannot enter the altar place too.
This is a protestants church novelty and probably women preach but do not conduct the sacred ceremonies in church

@fanoflittleman I'm not having an ego trip. You really should read the entire Bible. Old and New Testament. It clearly states the role of the woman. You take this as a bad thing, and it's not. A woman is supposed to submit to her husband, it says it several times within BOTH Testaments. It also says that a husband is to love his wife as Christ loves the church. Submission is an act of love and respect on both parts.

You are misquoting the Bible. Yes, if a woman has questions in church, she is to go home and ask her husband about them. If a husband wants his wife to share the word of God, she is permitted to do so. Even Jesus wanted Mary Magdalen to go forth and tell that he had risen. God is above all, and Jesus the son is over man, man is over his wife and she is over the children. Wives are allowed to share the gospel, even in church if their husband allows.

Christians have an excuse for everything that is otherwise rational. It's called hermeneutics I believe, and it basically says the bible is not the actual word of god. Yes it is true that a woman can't preach in a church, but these parts verses are also refering to women who were talking in church during the preaching and distracting others. So Paul wanted to put a stop to this. Women are allowed to talk in church like men, just not during the sermon.

In the assembly I am in fellowship women do not audibly pray, preach, or minister(they do sing though), men are expected to as able. Women also wear headcoverings to meetings. This is within the setting of a church meeting. Women do not wear the head coverings and are encouraged to pray and spread the word outside of the meeting hall. When God came in the flesh He came as a servant and washed the feet of the disciples. Just because we have different jobs does not mean any job is less important.
They think that if men would step up to the plate they wouldn't have to be the preachers of the 21st century. Uh.... why don't you go ask them instead of sitting home in your strudel. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 is a quote just like 1 Corinthians 7:1 where it says, "A man should not touch a woman." Thus, Paul is quoting them in 14:34-35 and then responding afterwards, "What? Did the word of God come from you?" Quote are not in a lot of english bibles. 1st Timothy 2:8-15 doesn't say a woman should be silent, it says "they should be allowed to learn, but quietly..." Go ask somebody before posting this crap!

@fanoflittleman I'm not having an ego trip. You really should read the entire Bible. Old and New Testament. It clearly states the role of the woman. You take this as a bad thing, and it's not. A woman is supposed to submit to her husband, it says it several times within BOTH Testaments. It also says that a husband is to love his wife as Christ loves the church. Submission is an act of love and respect on both parts.

You are misquoting the Bible. Yes, if a woman has questions in church, she is to go home and ask her husband about them. If a husband wants his wife to share the word of God, she is permitted to do so. Even Jesus wanted Mary Magdalen to go forth and tell that he had risen. God is above all, and Jesus the son is over man, man is over his wife and she is over the children. Wives are allowed to share the gospel, even in church if their husband allows.

Yes, God loves us just the same as man, but we are meant to be the weaker vessel. A good husband would not abuse that kind of authority, and a good wife would respect it as well. Submission is not about taking away from the woman, it's not evil. It's about love and respect in the place God put you.

Christians have an excuse for everything that is otherwise rational. It's called hermeneutics I believe, and it basically says the bible is not the actual word of god. Rather it should be interpreted so perhaps it can apply to all times, quotes etc etc... These type of arguments, although sensible, fall on deaf ears unfortunately.

the Bible is solid as a rock. The guy who made this video has misinterpreted these passages. Yes it is true that a woman can't preach in a church, but these parts verses are also refering to women who were talking in church during the preaching and distracting others. So Paul wanted to put a stop to this. Women are allowed to talk in church like men, just not during the sermon.
Christian women are every part as important, valuable and intellegent as the men, but we have to respect God's wishes.

In the assembly I am in fellowship women do not audibly pray, preach, or minister(they do sing though), men are expected to as able. Women also wear headcoverings to meetings. This is within the setting of a church meeting. Women do not wear the head coverings and are encouraged to pray and spread the word outside of the meeting hall. When God came in the flesh He came as a servant and washed the feet of the disciples. Just because we have different jobs does not mean any job is less important.

God has revealed to me that my wife's place is in the kitchen cooking me dinner, and in the rest of the house, too, cleaning and doing the laundry.
But she won't listen to me. She say's that God talked to her, too, and insists on defying me and makes me cook dinner for BOTH of us. She makes me clean and do laundry, too.

Uh.... why don't you go ask them instead of sitting home in your strudel. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 is a quote just like 1 Corinthians 7:1 where it says, "A man should not touch a woman." Thus, Paul is quoting them in 14:34-35 and then responding afterwards, "What? Did the word of God come from you?" Quote are not in a lot of english bibles. 1st Timothy 2:8-15 doesn't say a woman should be silent, it says "they should be allowed to learn, but quietly..." Go ask somebody before posting this crap!

We also have souls, and they are made for Christ, not men. Husbands and wives have a different relationship. Even then women are their own person. I guess people have never been to a Church where a lot of women sing or are lectors and the like. Pastors, Ministers are female and Anglicans have female Priests.
