  • I photographed Alice in 1974 and 1977 in Canada. To see the shots go to ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

  • Lung Sounds was only 9 years old did not even write my 1st song yet

  • "I need a houseboat and I need a plane, I need a butler and a trip to Spain . . . I need everything THE WORLD OWES ME!

  • este tema es el primero que aparece en el LP " love it to death"

  • acually I just realised I bought it a few years after it came out, Im not THAT old ha ha!

  • "I need a butler and a trip to Spain, I need everything the weirdos need, I tell that to myself and I agree...................SUPERB!!

  • @metalmickey07 I'm pretty sure it goes..."I need everything, the world owes me". At least that's what I've been singing ... lol

  • @MrBuzwuzcuz shit I've been singing that since 1971 when I bought Love It To Death on cassette lol, mind you it had no lyrics included so I was pretty close and I think weirdos sounds more "Alice" lol

  • Dual lead guitars of Glen Buxton and Michael Bruce KICK ASS here--why does

Vincent get all the credit for the collective greatness of this band???

  • at the Stone Pony? you have to be kidding me. that was the bastion of rock. what a great place. Coop at the Stone Pony. I am going to go shit myself.

  • im caught in a dream,,,,you dont know what im goin thru!!!!

  • More likely, The Sunshine Inn........Killer

  • alice cooper at there best !!

  • I thought he was kidding and laughed. The next thing I knew, Buffalo head, had me by the throat, agaisnt the wall, and off the ground, just like in he movies. My friends were begging the guy to let me go, which he eventually did. We got the hell out of there with this song playing.

  • This song almost got my ass kicked.Back in 1971,I was in Northern Michigan partying with friends and we went to the local bar.I checked the juke box and it only had about six rock tunes, one of which was Cooper's 18.This song was the flip side. The rest of the songs on the box were country and polkas. While playing pool, I kept ordering this song up while using the pool cue as a guitar.A guy with a buffalo's size head came over and told me he would kick my ass if I played this song again.

  • THANK U for posting!! LONG LIVE ALICE!!!

  • I love Alice Cooper songs. Is there something wrong with me? I just love them.

  • this song, restarted detroit. we had riots, lots of of problems and no measure you would understand. but, the studio cut just picked us up. we did not depend on Alice Cooper, but, we were very happy that he came along. old guy detroit.

  • the sounds for shit ... memories too strong .... and at the Pony to boot ...

this Jersey girl thanks you !!

  • Some people think Alice was phony. I disagree-great talent/songwriter, great band and a great rock and roll singer.

  • Great seeing him young. I saw him last summer in Idaho Falls

  • i've got almost 1400 cds and if i had to pick just one i could happily listen to love it to death for the rest of time!!!stunning album!!thank you alice!!!

  • is there a halowed by my name live alice cooper

  • Are you Alice Cooper? Do you have the right not to let people share this?I don't think so.

  • Definitely 71 or 72. Now that I think about it I also saw Edgar Winter and Blue Oyster Cult at the Sunshine around then.

  • I was at the Sunshine Inn show. It was much larger than the Pony. Saw groups like Yes, Mountain, etc there

  • I love this song!! Alice Cooper is one of my favorite bands of all time!! Keep on Rockin' Alice!!

  • This must have been The Sunshine Inn a few blocks away..I think the Pony opened in 74

  • Le son... Où est le son ?

  • I just saw him again on Sunday the 2ed of August, 2009. He is still rocken with another great show. I told my wife that come this Setember it will be 40yrs of me seeing Alice Cooper shows. That's right 4 decades! I'd like to see others beat that and why is he not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame yet. You tell me what you will be doing at 60!!!!!!!

  • @yellowcobra1 Alice Cooper broke up in 1974. Vince should have never been allowed to use the name of the group! Although he has made some good records, It is not Alice Cooper .One of the greatest American rock bands ever! I was at this show on July 3, 1971. I was 14. I just threw the "Be Cool" Sign away [He broke it on the song "Sun Arise" the next night] after keeping it for 30 years. i met and hung with the whole group that night outside the Sunshine Inn.

  • @TheJetfighter666 = They asked me why the SINGER'S name was ALICE -

  • On Love it to death album, this is a great track. And it is better on the disc than live! Alice wrote the catchiest melodies, many of which, inc this, have never been got real credit.

  • I think it's so awesome that this vintage stuff is on here. I also love the fact that there's a 16 year old person that likes Alice. I'm 27 and I dicovered Alice when I was around 17. I've been hooked ever since.

  • The great thing about Alice was he was supposed to be a man in drag. I guess he still is supposed to be. My mom used to tell me that she hated him, he was the ugliest guy she ever saw. haha.

  • Alice Cooper kicks some serious ass!

anyone who says otherwise is a lier!!!

Repost this coment if you agree

  • It's so good to see other people like this song as much as I do.

  • When I first saw Alice on TV in 1972, I was 16 and thought he was the most stunningly beautiful and talented man I'd ever seen. I still think that today! love to all AC fans

  • Love to you too, I'm 20 and I'm a huge Alice fan !!!

  • im 16 and im a huge Alice Cooper fan too. long live AC!!!

  • I am 52-- there ya go i learned this band note for note, and it was good--and i still play this song--and the bar gos crazy-its a Michigan thing!! I am "RUMBLE STRIP"----Move it!!

  • classic

  • this is not the same country as in 1971. bad ass music, bad ass cars, bad ass people. now,, techno beat hip hop bullshit for poser wards of the state. goddamn how did we let freedom go?

  • "poser wards of the state" Lmao

I hear ya man. This country has changed ten fold. But I don't give up....I rip on the wiggers all day long....I rip on the liberal leftwing faggot lovers all day long....I rip on the PC assholes all day long.

Classic music and Michael Savage is all this country has left in it. Our country has been destroyed by greed and our corrupt politicians put greed above the country. Kill or be killed right now...

  • I think every single song from love it to death rocks the world.

    Alice Cooper rules!

  • I love this song, such a nice song XD

  • This was at the Stone Poney on the Jersey shore in 1971. Wonder if Springsteen was in the audience?

  • I remember when I was younger this was the b-side to the I'm Eighteen single and I used to play the shit out of this song. Long Way to Go is another great one from Love It to Death

  • This is such a great song! It's one of my favorite alice cooper songs =D

  • when you see w/a smile on my face...then you know i'm a mental case...yes, dong...this tune seriously kicks a large amout of ass. most of todays music does not, and that's a cryin' shame!!!

  • Whoah! I asked on that board if anyone there thought, "He's flipped for real this time," and got scared. A guy answered me and said he was there, and he was eight at the time, and was terrified, lol. I would have been five, and I would have become one with my dad's hip. I used to be scared of everything. Makes me wonder how I ever became a Coop fan, lol. Btw, I was hoping you'd get my answer as you asked about this a year ago. Turns out you got it in 21 min. Always :-) to help a fellow fan!

  • When you say "Go to Hell" on the Grammies, do you mean when Alice pretended to go nuts and smash electrical equipment, rip a girl's clothes, and fight security? It's on here now! I'm glad I saw it on youtube instead of irl, it looked so real, I'd still be hiding under the chair, lol!

  • It's not just any girl it's his wife, Sheryl Cooper!

  • Kinda wish I'd been there...but I'd be really old now so well done to whoever kept hold of this footage for so long! Cheers.

  • This songs awesome, whenever i hear it i wanna listen to it twenty times!

  • That's the same outfit Alice wore on the Killer calendar.

  • Fuckk I Love This Tune.

  • This is so rock. Glam/Shock/Garage rock the classic Cooper.

  • This was shot at the "Sunshine Inn" in Asbury Park, not the Pony. I was there dude! Yes I am an old fart!

  • This was filmed at the Mt. Holly Ski Lodge, in Holly Michigan.

  • classick alice cooper

  • this is awesome, my favorite cooper song.

  • Yes the stone pony is not correct.Don't know were in jersey but jersey may be correct, but Stone Pony not.

  • The Stone Pony didn't open it's doors until 1974. This film was shot somewhere else in 1971.

  • sweeeeet!!

  • Fantastic!

  • a great straight rock'n roll song. nothing special really but when AC does it's just wonderful :D

just gotta love those guitars :)

  • Awesome; I always loved this song.

  • A great song from the best band ever - they have nailed it live - the guitar sounds are great.
