@socsparky7 Yeah, they were 1/3 of the way across and left a full lane of traffic until the police stopped them. They would have been totally off the bridge in 15-20 more minutes, instead the police stopped them and took over FOUR HOURS arresting them.

UNBELIEVABLE! I was there, but towards the back of the march taking photos of as many signs and people as I could (I'm a freelance photographer). I never knew what really went down at the front of the march. I heard that the NYPD led the protesters onto the bridge, but it was kinda hard for me to believe they would do that and risk shutting it down. Now it's clear what happened and that NYPD could have prevented the bridge from shutting down & 700 people being arrested. This changed everything!!

The actions of the police in this video are illegal. The officers who led the protestors onto the bridge need to be fired. It is unlawful to direct someone into a situation only to arrest them.
A similar scenario would be for an officer to hand someone an ounce of weed and arrest him for possession. It is not, will not, and should never be legal for police to goad citizens in this fashion.

@socsparky7 Yeah, they were 1/3 of the way across and left a full lane of traffic until the police stopped them. They would have been totally off the bridge in 15-20 more minutes, instead the police stopped them and took over FOUR HOURS arresting them.
If you are at all angry about people being late for work ALL of your anger should be directed at the NYPD.

UNBELIEVABLE! I was there, but towards the back of the march taking photos of as many signs and people as I could (I'm a freelance photographer). I never knew what really went down at the front of the march. I heard that the NYPD led the protesters onto the bridge, but it was kinda hard for me to believe they would do that and risk shutting it down. Now it's clear what happened and that NYPD could have prevented the bridge from shutting down & 700 people being arrested. This changed everything!!

The actions of the police in this video are illegal. The officers who led the protestors onto the bridge need to be fired. It is unlawful to direct someone into a situation only to arrest them.
A similar scenario would be for an officer to hand someone an ounce of weed and arrest him for possession. It is not, will not, and should never be legal for police to goad citizens in this fashion.

Okay, I know the police need to do their jobs and keep us "safe" and all...but were these protestors doing anyone physical, emotional, or mental harm? I don't think so. So therefore they are being peaceful. They have a right to peacefully assemble. It's in their first amendment rights clear as day. And from what I see here in this vid is that the police ARE leading them to the bridge...only to arrest them (pretty roughly and rudely too!). That is just messed up beyond all belief.

These are kids with top echelon educations and they cannot find work. The reported unemployment does not cover people who have NEVER been able to get into the job market. Instead of being such a pompous blowhard, take a look around the country. Nearly 1/3 in poverty. You have a job, be happy & shut up.

Seat belt laws, you can build on your property with out a permit. If you feel like riding your motorcycle with a shot gun strapped to your back, you can do that. 4 states do not require a gun license, less government and more state control. As far as stupid goes, Stupid is a word you use for what you don’t know yet.

Now, TSA "VIPR teams" are conducting approximately 8,000 "unannounced security screenings" a year at subway stations, bus terminals, ports and highway rest stops. It's crucial, we acknowledge how bad things have gotten. Simply getting the right political party into power will not save America, their on the right track, perhaps we will start focusing on some real solutions.
