He took in a kid that had seen his parents die in front of him just like Bruce had and raised him into a pretty well adjusted young man. Took an orphan off the streets, gave him a home and a purpose. No, If Bruce didn't have a hand in Terry's birth, then it's completely different. Terry met Bruce by chance, then became Batman on his own volition. Bruce realized that Gotham needed Batman and offered Terry a chance to take the role, which he accepted. Terry CHOSE to become Batman. He's pissed because he THINKS Bruce manipulated him. The Black & White moments of Epilogue don't really happen, they're just Terry imagining the aftermath of revealing the the truth to Bruce.
