the difference is the f480 is just the standard mobile the f480i is optus wich means they have chosen it to run on there network same with the f480t wich is telstras version they test each mobile to see if will run good and get good coverage on there network the t and the i have nothing to do with the phones specs its just the network all the f480 mobiles are the same but different networks

well he speed up the video, animations of switching between hoomescreen and menu isn't smooth, phone lacks memory, quickly starts caughing and so on. Ive got it and im happy with it, but i wouldnt advice or suggest anyone else to buy it ;]

PRO: It's a great phone to use while ur alive.

CON: It's got a capacitive touchscreen (heat sensitive) which means u cant use this phone when ur dead.

for those who would like to know, the screen display//image doesn't flip with the phone; it's fixed into place. the only exceptions are taking pictures and watching vidoes. but trust me, it's not a problem. =)

In my opinion samsung is better, this phone have more sensual display, have very good sound and the battery is ready to be on stand by 6 days. But Lg has more functions, which in my opinion are for kids and have no sense.I like nokia e51, my brother has it. I would prefer to buy nokia. And when I'm watching a video or some of the pics, it's shuts itself off!! :O

Nope, not true, you can put your own pics as wallpapers. BUT if you press the hold button, you will get a sort of screensaver which you cannot change by yourself. But this 'screensaver' changes all the time.

f480, ive used them both, cookie is hard to use, bad screen and bad camera, tocco is completely opposite

Well I have the exact same question, and I think that 5 megapixel camera on the 480 beats 3.2's cookie, and the fact that everyone says the interface and screen are a way better in the F480. The 480 is a little more expensive, though :S You have to have the two in your hands before decide. In my opinion, the F480 looks way more elegant, professional and expensive than the lg cookie. You'll gonna love it when you see it. It's beautiful. Lg Cookie not that good.
