neve's response was brilliant! thats exactly why i watch horror! i dont agree with cravens response, cuz i LOVE to be scared! however... the scream films are NOT scary at all to me, i see them more as dark comedies if anything. now films like the original texas chainsaw, seven, psycho, high tension, and paranormal activity.... THOSE were frightening!

@8112607433 Well, we all know that Scream 4 is happening but Wes Craven is practically the MASTER of horror, I don't think he'd turn down the opportunity to direct more Scream films. It seems like he has as much fun directing as we do watching, & that's what the horror genre needs....people who are actually interested in making these films for the fun of it & not just the money.
