  • I used to watch this on Nickelodeon all the time! This and Belle & Sebastian. Jeez...i needed more friends as a kid apparently.

  • I used to watch this all the time on Nickelodeon when I was a kid but all I can remember now is that he was sad a lot and always looking for a friend and that his rose was always jealous when he left because she was afraid that someday he'd find someplace he liked better and would never come back.

  • In E8, the little prince sleeps in the same bed as a grown man he barely knows. This episode is actually E7. And in E17, you see the little prince actually stark naked with another boy who is naked still. "A Small Alien" is E5. "Somewhere In Space" is E6. And E19 is the infamous "Dancing Bear" episode where the U.S producers edited the episode that made the dead bear Yuri come back to life. He dies for real in the Japanese version. It would make Mel Gibson proud.

  • Notice when the little prince is sleeping in the same bed as the girl, his hands are under the sheets. I wonder what he's doing with them.....

  • Wish they made more C:

  • WHAT??? 1:36

  • Lol at 0:53 i mean.

  • Lol at 0:54

  • Man, these days children shows won't even have the balls to show this! 2:41

  • @PlooKon09

Truthfully, not even 80s shows would have done this, just shows from the 80s didn't edit out this out like they probably would today. Japanese cartoons are so much better.

  • this has nothing to do with the book at all...

  • @within567jr seriously?!? F***!

  • @xkrystalclear yepp yepp yep yep yep.... =\ if you live in illinoise tell me.

  • @within567jr

I was going to say the same thing

  • On my VHS tape of The Little Prince anime from Children's Video Library, the end credits are deleted altogether so it just plays the Children's Video Library logo after the episode is done.

  • Not quite how the real story went. I miss the whole suicide bit at the end.

  • cute anime

  • It was nice to see this again. I really don't remember any of the episodes except one where the little prince was racing in the rain on a bike with some medicine for a sick little boy.

  • that was the worst episode ever the first one is definately the best.

  • And dear God, if I had a daughter, there's no way in hell I'd let some kid claiming to be outer space royalty sleep in her bed. I'd kick his scrawny little ass all the way back to his home planet.

  • I'm with you on that, I was thinking the same damn thing

  • Those were innocent years...

    (198something)

  • so u really expect him to do that on a kids cartoon

  • @Devast8ion

    you damn right!! LOL

  • i cant believe i dont remember this. wat year did it come out? my class and i saw the movie and they said it was weird and gay, but i dont really think so...

  • Oh geez did that bring back some memories. I think I vaguely remember this particular episode. Kind of cheesy to say the least, but when you're 5 years old, you really don't care. :P I'm 28 now, but I definitely loved this show when it aired on Nick. Thanks for posting it!

  • It was aphenomolal show, at least it waterd down the book, which I read in both French and English, the prince is killed in the book

  • What book are you reffering to? The little prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry wasn't killed.

  • does my heart good

  • Ah that brings back memories! thanks for uploading!

    J'adore le petit prince!

  • it's like i'm 6 years old again

  • this is nice cartoon. But different from Saint-Exupery's book...

  • its the voices for Unico...and Sheri..I would love you for ever if you had more episodes...but TY for up loading

  • I thought it was Unico's voice too, I looked on IMDB. It said the voice was also Huckleberry Pie & Apple Dumplin from Strawberry Shortcake , Casper in Casper the Friendly Ghost Cartoon and Baby Smurf on The Smurfs! But no Unico. It says Unico's voice was Karen Prell...who was also the voice of Red on Fraggle Rock & A bunch of voices on Labyrinth!! Sorry...I am a total NERD!

  • Also Julie is married to fellow voiceover actor & radio personality Rick Dees. also my error it was Janet Waldo not Joanie Gerber, my bad.

  • I love this cartoon. Do u have more episodes?

  • That planet has a continent just like North America, yet it's supposed not to be Earth.

  • How old do you think the Prince is? I say 7.

  • Thanks! I enjoyed it! I used to see that cartoon a lot when I was a kid... please upload some more.

  • Yeah, I think I'm remembering an episode where there's a desert planet? And he meets a downed pilot in a red airplane? And there's a sandwich involved somehow? Maybe... Can you upload that one?

  • Actually...the whole piolet in the desert thing is what the book is about, mostly.

  • Very cool. Can you upload more, especially the one where he meets the pilot? Thanks!

  • And the one, I think I'm remembering a girl who got attacked by some wild dog that turns out to be actually nice, and the rose girl gets sick and he has to find some magic water maybe? Sorry about the vagueness, the last time I watched this was when I was 2 1/2. I'm 13 now, and really miss this little guy!
