I think you'd find Lakeside's not changed much. Lakeside is a place frozen in time, but in a really fabulous way! I live in North Carolina, but we make the trip up every year or so. Indeed beautiful sunsets in FL too!

I remember getting ice for our icebox. This place was across the street from the grocery store. Then they had a place where you could get fresh orange juice. Not sure about that.
THANKS KCG2141 for the information about the bell. So they didn't move the bell? I heard they moved it to another place on Lake Erie in Lakeside.

I miss Lakeside. I have not seen the place since the 1970's. Wish I could see it again. But live in Florida now and have beautiful sunsets.
