  • for parts , i hope i will not face problems to find them . we are here in morocco , north africa . and big bikes are not very famous in society . it will not be my first one ; i have had a 250cc honda cbx 2007 , 25 hp . it was also cheap but very light and not powerful , single cylinder . i did with it about 15000 Km without problems . now i want more power , i dont need 100 hp to ride . just 60 hp of a good condition gpz will be great .

  • today i found an annoucement about a gpz 500 s , but when i saw 92 i started to think its too old . can you give me some advices before i meet the guy

  • @homoKaliptus Hi man, what i can tell u is that getting parts for this bike is still very easy and most of them are cheap aswell. There are also replica parts on the market that are even cheaper. Now i own the black version of the bike in this video. I love it, its light and above 6000rpm very fast and the sound gets louder and better also by than. Its not nervous on throttle like most 500cc's, u can drive it in the city with no problem.

  • @homoKaliptus Things u must look when chekking the bike to buy are, the millage, the chain and gears, overall condition and tires. I think the model of the bike doesnt look like its from 92, it blends in very well and is strong competition with alot of standard 500cc models of this time. The S in 500S makes it special, its lightweight bike with very good engine, ratio power/weight is what makes it be that fast.

  • @homoKaliptus From 0-100k/mh its faster than the 600cc gpz. Its got a bit more power but is also heavier. The gpz 500s is a bit sensitive in strong winds because its a light bike. The rattle noises when engine runs is normal for kawasaki engines, as i found out.

Good luck man, hope its a good one. For a starter bike its a great bike. Cheap to run, maintain and insurance. Keep me posted on what you do or did, i would like that.

    Ciao JJ
