I completely forgot about emil when i posted that, as i was in the midst of my second vesperia playthrough :O Ahaha, but yes Emil dominates at aerial combat as much as or more than judith, as almost all of his artes were modified for aerial usage. LOL NO SHIT JUDITHS HOTTER, Emil is a guy XD

a joke arte, you need to get her joke weapon, equip it, and the "Glamourous Maid" title on, use Moonlight Blast and hold the arte+guard buttons. Find a FAQ for more details

basic timeline editing, cut out the menu parts in the video down to the frame so it looks seamless

because nobody wants to see him go into a menu 10 times during the combo

You'll notice that you can hear the beginning and ends of menu sounds during the video, also the music is turned off and replaced with another song so there aren't any breaks to interrupt the flow, it's really a great setup.

Joke weapons : You have to finish the Sicily sidequest

Judith's Moon glare, you don't need anything but the skill, as you use moon glare, Hold Attack and the Artes button together, works on ground and in the air.

I was kinda on the fence about that as well, whether the alternate aerial vers would be considered different. Well, I want to redo this anyway so I'll definitely try it next time.

My reasoning on the more variable aerial/ground versions: Same name, different moves. I think as long as you have "no repeated actions," it should be fine. I know some artes when used in the air become almost completely different from their ground counterparts. (Ever seen Leon's Gen'eijin artes in TOD DC?)
