While the guy has a good voice and can carry a tune quite well HE IS NOT THE STAR OF THE SHOW! Save the singing along for karaoke gigs at the pub. It's a wedding reception. Conduct yourself with some class and stop glomming the spotlight.
The bride didn't complain. Where in the dj book does it say " no singing to the music"? When I worked radio I always sang along and occasionally cracked the mic on the air. Hardly anybody noticed. This guy was entertaining, just ask the guy who shot the vid.
Wrong Wrong Wrong. As a DJ, I would never sing along on the mic like some lame ass kareoke! There are things a DJ can do to intergrate with the crowd - bop to the music, lip synch when it is right, even dance if the guests insist (I hate it but it happens). Singing on the mic - NEVER NEVER NEVER! That totally ruined the song.
Totally unprofessional and disgusting! I would have been embarrassed if I was your guest! Where did you find that guy? I want to tell other people where not to shop.
DJs: Leave your wives/husbands/sig others at home. Don't "Get it on" with them behind the console while playing human jukebox and pretending to be on AI. This actually reminds me of a sucky DJ with the same mentality in North Carolina. He's got YouTube videos on here, too.
