Well I bought this little laptop for $399 and been happy with it. I just wish the battery last longer. Please don't use winxp that crap kills your battery, and if you are trying to install xp on sd card or usb good luck with that. I gave up on trying to install xp on my 4gb sd card.

u dont install win xp pro or home man~~~ u install the easiest windows xp.....i think it's windows xp basic? or something.....u install it onto ur hard drive, it works well

go to the next store an let them show you some portable dvdplayers, they have often 7inch screens.

i was at the ifa in berlin this weekend and tried a Q1 Ultra - 7inch are really enough.

there will be a model with a dark (i have seen a picture but i couldnt figure out whether it was black or dark grey) case so the "big black bans" wont strike you that much as they do in the white case.

Now, now, now, I will buy 2 yesterday!! When she says EeePC it is scary, like a mini seizure, but who cares, it is real and not vaporware. I just hope they are using standard CF that can be swapped easily (4GB for $35, I want to have a lot of different OSes for it)
