I remember them doing this on Mythbusters. They said it was worse if you run, you just want to walk hastily because running puts more weight on your feet and stirs up the coals more. The temperature on the top is way less then it could ever be underneath and as long as that is all your feet touch it is bearable. Not that I will ever do that. lol

We had a pig once, he was a very intelligent pig. He could do tricks and we taught it to fire walk. When it died we decided to sipt roadt it. Well why waste it, its what Oink would have wanted. But low and behold, i'll be fucked if we could get it to cook. We turned that Hogmeister to full heat but good old Oink remained as pink as a newborn piglet. I tell ya, firewalking is magic!

"the Power Of the Mind (POM)" didn't seem to come to the aid of that Eskrima dude in Manila who half-hacked his arm off pulling those warrior-rituals in the same series (there's a clip of it on utube as well). so I guess it only actively works in healing wounds and not outright preventing them lol.

that's true and if youre a martial artist your body will be much stonger then average,, iam a martial artist to but my burn wound became when i was 3 years old,, i wasnt a martial artist back there :P so i dont know when it happends now :P but i do remember i had a burn wound a month ago and it recovered in 1 day :O

the healign thing was due to a really bad doctor not realizeing once you peal the skin off youll be fine the next day because they heat carmalizes the layer under...well atelast thats ho i feel...those were not second degree burns...just a bad doctor...rolly staged that part lol..

Wood is a poor conductor of heat and anyone in any mind set can do this as long as they do it right and Chris did not quite do it right. I believe when the flesh is that badly burned it no longer turns red... it's just like dead skin. (not enitrely sure)

the skin just melts when its really bad burnd i did teh mistake and tryd to pick up an little metall stick what i did not know was that hade hold it infront of a wheld torch and that it just had stop glowing...

i did not feel any paine i did not get any blister the only think that happend was alot of smoke it was the smell of the smoke that made me drop the stick.

Flesh turns yellow when u get a real bad burn... atleast i think so *bad memory* have some nasty shitt on my arms.. took like a month to heal or two.. cant remember really, now afterwards its soft and kinda white looking skin.. cris just ran over that in a few steps and he werent on for long, no problem il say, shoud heal fast like that =)
