Beautiful car, but how does it sit against the Toyota Celsior (sold overseas as the Lexus 400 series since its inception around 1989)? Perhaps they competed for the same customer. I noticed last year in Japan that Toyota has now started to badge the Celsior as Lexus in their own domestic market.
@sebazio3333 i know i completly agree with you but the problem is they have the LS. You would buy it i know but what about those people who only want the badge. they wouldn't buy it.
The Toyota Crown is the oldest production model from ANY Japanese auto maker. The first Crown was introduced in 1955 and over the years had evolved into a top notch luxury sedan. The Majesta is the top of the range above the Hybrid, Royal Series and Athlete Series. The Majesta was introduced with the 9th generation Crown to slot above the Royal. Unfortunately for the last 35 years, they have been largely sold only in the Japanese Domestic Market.
As for this car, it is very quiet, and riding comfort is softer than Lexus.
It is positively more popular than Lexus in Japan.
It might be a car that expressed the culture of Japan.

Why doesn't Toyota export this superb vehicle all over the world??
I am amazed at the technology and luxury this car has. If I was rich, I would have no hesitation in buying this beautiful car.
Once again Toyota has proven why it's the world's no 1 car maker.
