there are plenty of vehicles with V8's that get good mileage, the corvette for instance, 30+ real world mpg from a 6.0l V8. the ford crown Victoria 26-27 mpg hwy with a 4.6l V8. the Pontiac G8 GT almost 30 mpg hwy with a 6.0l V8. even the hated Chevy Tahoe can get low 20's if driven properly (as in not constantly floored) .

ive heard they charge fees to drive vehicles with bad gas mileage over there, its not worth it i guess. My personal car is only a Kia sportage. i got 24.8 mpg with it highway. they don't make SUV's anymore for practical use... only for taking up space. i know this. the space of a tahoe would be nice on my somewhat frequent 800 mile trips. it's cramped in a sportage for that long.

i have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe z71 and love it! it does get the best gas mileage in its class and dosent polute as much as u think it does! hello it can run on e85 and they do have a tahoe hybrid! i love it and wouldnt trade it for anything!

I also did over 300 hrs of community service for our town little league last year. Therefore, I'm not self-centered. (also happens to be a V8) its fast, hauls kids (i only have 1 but she has friends) and hauls drywall and other house needs etc while getting 26mpg hwy. Im not over compensating for anything, i just love the car because its safe, reliable, fun and the V8 sounds awsome. and thank God i live in a country where i could choose that car!

uh, they are basically the same thing. Yukons are a Tahoe with different trim. The Escalade is nicer, but also more expensive. Chevy and GMC trucks are all based on the same designs.

I have a 95 Tahoe and love it. I've been told I'm a great neighbor too, the neighbors love the way I mow my grass! I'm also not insecure about my operating skills, I have a CDL, Heavy Equipment Operators License, a boat license, and a pilot's license. I also did over 300 hrs of community service for our town little league last year. Therefore, I'm not self-centered. I drive a 98' Tahoe I took the muffler and both catalytic converters off because it sounds better that way It gets very shitty gas mileage and It has a lift kit and 36" super swamper's so i don't lose traction while im ripping the ozone and mother nature a new asshole.

ive owned and driven a few different cars...if you know what you are doing..an old chevy is the way to go. say what you want. ill be passing you with less money spent. lol

AMERICAN CARS SUCK BALLS! They are cheaply made, terribly engineered, and fall apart. BUY JAPANESE and GERMAN for quality and top engineering/ergonomics!
