A true story no doubt this & worse happened countless times in all wars. After some time an older boy with hand in the air came over the dune with our radio. Chances are if the 3 of us hadn't have drawn down on the kids, the operation would have finished with us getting killed for our M16's. With no radio we couldn't call for help.
