In reality these "Dictators" are simply trying to do the best for their people without resorting to imperialism, as America does. Cuba for example, Fidel Castro has given his people free healthcare, education and housing under the blockade america put over Cuba, imagine the example they would have set without it.

Democracy works out for who? It never works out. Because its always a society ruled by the elite which are promoted to the brainwashed poor for the elite. A democracy would involve more public input on key political decisions. There would be more referendums. What decisions do we the public make besides who holds the rubber stamp office? Everything from non commercial fisher men to ex-software employee's who create their products in a garage. Distributing their products.. together... as a micro community. hmm how'd you get your percentages because both the industry and farms were state enterprise's. Instead of having a capitalist exploit you, you have a Government which works without a market to exploit you, while the labour and surplus remains the same. One of the only things that was infact communist was the idea of Communes which lasted for roughly nine years before they turned into collectives, which were less communist but more productive.

Hmm while I do believe allot in communism. North Korea and China do not float my particular boat. I have always been an American supporter of the hammer and sickle but I do believe they where the last example of great communism. I really do not like Korea but best of luck to you and your country. The Volga Boatman predates the Soviet Union and isn't communist, although the suffering depicted could be interpreted as representing life under the Tsar. I wouldn't though, seeing as it's just a song about sailors enduring manual labour.
