hey i loged in and it said that i had 350 msg's and i never get that many i only get like 5 a day does that mean it got hacked? when i clicked it it just disappear

@ttms6 Go through the process of what I outlined and you'll be able to see if someone has been accessing your profile. To be on the safe side, make sure you are notified each time you log in. 350 sounds like a bunch!

I found out that my Facebook account's password was changed by someone. I click where it said to reset it an when the page that shows your email addresses that you made the Facebook accounts with, I see mine and an unknown one. I'm starting to get a little scared. I have Norton but it would warn me if if someone is phishing my data. I go to Yahoo to log into my account and when I enter the password it said it was wrong. Now I'm really freaking out.

@TheMrCokeCola There is a possibility. If you are able to change your password in Facebook then that's your first step. If your entire computer has been hacked you may want to get in touch with someone to find out what other step you may need to take. I wish you the best.

You left your email up on the video, the only real defense against being hacked is keeping your accounts linked email secret.

@NanoHorizon It's clearly marked on my profile and it's my main site's email address so yes, I did leave it up on the video. But this is for warning people how to prevent it from being hacked. Mine was hacked years ago but it was because I clicked on a link I shouldn't have. No other reason but that one. I now know better and have never had any other problems.

Umm...I wanted to know something,my friend said he was trying to log into his account WHILE FaceBook was being hacked,and he was saying that he saw a bunch of random accounts popping up and closing...could this be true or was he just making it up?I tried googling it for an answer but all i got was things like "How to protect your account from being hacked"...?

@IAmCpFan Yes, this can be true. If you've clicked on any links that people have sent you, that's a way for people to access your account. Don't ask me how... Once that's done, they can post things to your account by logging in. If you notice that it says you are logging in from various places but you know it's not you, change your password immediately. But you will be notified which is the reason to put this into place. Hope that helps.

I cant even get on mine because the people go to my email and then change my email adress so they can change my password and they do it everytime i change my password :(:(:(

@Tokiohotelgirl97 Sounds like you need to just create a new account and implement this right away. Plus, never open any links people send you unless you know them personally and check with them first. That will really help prevent this from happening to you again. Sorry to hear you've had so many problems.
