Sanatorium Hill- Haunted Wisconsin (Madison)

This place is truly haunted. I have seen it with my own eyes. I saw a figure jump off of the roof and then disappear. I also saw a figure hang themselves. When I walked through the woods in the winter, it was like 80 degrees when outside of the woods it was like 30 degrees. Finally when I was walking back toward the building from the cemetery, I saw a large green glowing ball following me.

i live in madison and i lived right by there on nancy lane and me and my buddy would go up there and we would get there and buildings lights would be off inside cause no ones allowed in there reason for asbestos if thats how you correctly spell it and we come back passed on our way home and the same light that we just seen off was on and this is no joke believe me or not but i never seen nothing like it and in just maybe 15 min time period

I live 2 blocks from there and go sleading on that hill every year, but I do feel like im being watched from a window or something when Im by the building, I have never seen anything but It does feel Erie when your right next to the building....

thsi was interesting to see, i investigate there often, but im not sure if i caught that voice on anything, although i did catch something on my cell phone voice recorder. i just started to upload videos, so if i can get a camera that will work good for night, ill definitely start uploading these kinda videos

I'm not saying don't believe in Ghosts or the paranormal bc even Einstein believed in Ghosts and says so in his theory about the after life since our body is made out of mostly energy and energy never dies than when our body dies, the energy still lives. I'm not even saying to stop watching TAPS. I still watch it bc it's entertaining. I'm just saying not to fall into commercialism and scams. Besides, Ghost Hunters is still great to watch when it comes to debunking. :)

If you want real paranormal activity, watch ghost hunters on syfy. It gets some pretty cool evps, like one time there was a voice that said, I like the one in the hat. The guy wearing the hat took the hat off. lol

@BOOKWORM56100 The truth is, it's a t.v. show with a producer, a director, etc. and the show is meant for entertainment so although you may feel like you know Grant after watching the show for so long, you only know what the director WANTS you to know about him. Search TAPS hoax, Ghosthunters hoax, or Taps scam on youtube and you will find clips from their live show. I don't like hear say so I'd rather you see for yourself.

I'm thinking it is b/c it looks familiar and I remember hearing something about a "mental institution" when I was a kid (I grew up on nearby Havey Rd).

We used to sled down that hill and at the time there was no fence so you had to be careful you didn't sled onto Northport.

I grew up in Madison and graduated from LaFollette HS (I heard LHS's auditorium is haunted, but not until I moved out of state). Once, me and a couple buddies decided to take a trip out to the Sanitarium cemetary on a weekend night...I've never been so scared in my life. Saw shadows but no "mist" as reported and we all had that feeling of being watched. One of my friends claimed that something grabbed, not touched, his shoulder. People go out there to fuck with people though so who knows.

For one, you cant come to a solid conclusion that it is saying, "Jerusalem". Voices from spirits come from a "higher & faster" vibrating frequency and can be un-discernable.

I hope you have slowed down the audio and played around with it. And it makes it even more iffy that you are outside, in the middle of the day, no I'm not saying that it's impossible to catch an EVP in daylight, but, its rare.

Madison - Sanitarium Hill - The main building was an old tuberculosis sanitarium. There is a forest in the back that has a path that leads through it and goes to the graveyard. There is also two large smoke stacks that the dead were rumored to be burned in. The nurse' barracks were connected by a tunnel that was under ground and lead from the main building. Most of the sightings happen in the woods and right outside of the cemetery.
