Until surfing onto YouTube, I was shamefully unaware of things like Victoria Day. But thanks to folks like yourself, I'm reminded that the U.S. isn't the only one with holidays worth boasting about (we seem to be high on our own PR down here, have you noticed?).
And, yes, I'm showing up to this party a week late. My excuse? I have none. But I miss your vlogs, Doug. Went looking for a Dugalwest vlog recently, didnt' find one, and still managed to miss this video.
Hi Curt. Just read your comment on Kierri's BDay vid. Yes, that's exactly what I was doing while you were commenting, uploading. I have done a couple of vloggy-type things that were particular to LV recently, but haven't been spending a lot of time either place. And you, Mr. 700+ subscribers, I'm pleased as punch you managed to get over here as soon as you did. ;)
Lovely community atmosphere. Where I live, I don't think we really get these kinds of community-based events in which the whole street or neighbourhood come together. Very pretty fireworks - the pets in the surrounding area must have been going a little crazy!
I don't think it's all that common here either, although this particular event has been held annually for over 15 years. Now that you mention it, I didn't notice any of the neighbourhood cats or dogs loitering around the area.

I'm really losing it.

Ya, I didn't realize I'd caught some of that on tape until I reviewed it afterwards.
