Hey - I Just wanted to ask that do we have to chain four only for the first time when we begin round two? I'd be extremely grateful if you'd answer my query. Thanks!
@GreyWolfEyes1222 It is and sometimes it makes your hand cramp but the smaller and steadier your hands are the easier it is. Practice makes perfect and the more you practice the easier it gets! Message me if you need pointers!
p.s. don't go straight into thread work your way down from yarn to thread then string so you become accommodated with the rhythm!
I just made one with a G hook and ww baby yarn in white. and it is adorable. I am going to use it as a Christmas ornament. I have been looking for some kind of snowflake like crochet ornament.....these are prefect! Thank you!
Great demo! i want to make these for my daughter, but would have to make them real tiny, since she's only 6. what sz thread and hook would yoou suggest?
@mzveronica890 This is not a project for a beginner. You will need to learn the basic stitches first before you try an advanced project like this one.
@mzveronica890 Like theresa said if you think this is too fast you may not be ready for a project like this. when I was a beginner I wrote everything down she said so you don't have to worry as much about pausing then trying to catch up. it is actually still really useful for me at times when I'm working on a very difficult project. I make Lace so this is a breeze and I have it memorized by now.
@mzveronica890 BTW PLEASE do not tell Theresa she's not doing a good job of teaching YOU, she is THE BEST TEACHER on ALL OF YOUTUBE and the way you worded yourself was probably quite offensive to her. She puts these videos up to HELP US out and is KIND enough to share her expertise and the PATTERNS which you have to pay for MOST of the time.Just because you're frustrated don't take it out on the person who created the video and is helping,it's not HER fault YOU'RE having trouble following along.

@tjw1963 Really? That is hard to believe. Oh I made the earrings! I'm so proud. lol Because I used thick yarn, I stopped at the end of the circle, omitting the loops design. It was awesome! Everyone gave a lot of compliments. Thank you!

@ellesig1987 Thank you. This may be a more challenging project to start on so keep that in mind if some things seem frustrating. I do have a playlist with the beginner crochet stitches that you may want to become familiar with prior to starting a project.
Thank you so much for posting this! I really enjoy watching your tutorials, they are so clear and you have a nice voice to explain as you go. @tjw1963 it is very easy to understand all the stitches from your video. keep it up :)
made it that very day but my only concern was that it looks somewhat stiff and bland. is there someway we could increase its width - two parallel chains, breadthwise? i'm fairly new so just letting my mind wander..
@airbayx You can work another round of chain loops if you would like to. You may need to increase each chain loop. I am not sure what you mean by stiff. I thought everyone would want a shape that was stiff.
@tjw1963@tjw1963 it is very easy to understand all the stitches from your video. keep it up :)

i made another pair and actually used the same technique used to put the hook on to put beads onto the earrings and they turned out so cool, i made them in black with 2 different shades of orange beads and they totally look halloween esque i love them thanks again these are so multipurpose ^_^
so i made these, idk if i had some weird crochet cotton or something ( idk what size it is cause it no longer has a label ) but mine look kinda different ( a bit smaller) but they still look great so thanks again for the tutorial ^_^
@bjababy1 Mine may only look big because it is close up. They are less than 2 inches. There is a wide range of steel crochet hook sizes. If you used a smaller hook, they will turn out smaller, even if you use the same thread as I did. If you want larger earrings, use a larger crochet hook.
Oh my gosh, this is such a cute idea! I'm thinking Christmas gifts! I've never worked with such a small hook before, but this inspires me to try. Thanks, Teresa, for sharing this tutorial. I never fail to learn something from you.
I made these thanks to your video. I am a novice crocheter. I asked my sister in law what she thought as in size for these she thought they were cute for kids. So any tip on making the larger earrings like 6cm to 9cm wide. And how to attach two of these to resemble dangling earrings. And how to mix colors. Thanks!

That was the easiest tutorial I have seen for such a pretty earring. I have been watching you for years now. Your amazing. And i like really large circle earrings. I would wear a pair up to the size of a CD on certain occasions or use them in one of my photo shoots ^_^ Keep up the great work.
aaaaw i really really want to make these T^T but they don't sell these earings metal peaces here alone , i always wanted to make some accesories :( thanks for teaching us how =)
@MioChan1991 My suggestion would be for you to purchase some inexpensive earrings that would be similar to these. Take off any decoration and replace it with the crochet piece. Maybe they would both work together.
I saw this kind of earrings on etsy. I don't need to but it, because I can make it now even crochet beginner : ) Thank you for sharing soooo cute stuffs everytime♡

I like these! I have never worked with thread, but they sound like a first great project for me. I'm gonna try them. I have not done thread cuz, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to see the stitches with such a small needle.
Thanks for the tutorial. For the first time I'm working with this type of yarn and it's so small. You make it look so easy. :o) I think I'm going to make a pair to match my purse I'm making. Thanks again.
1st It might be a lil' bit late to say that but I really wanna thank u so much for being the best crochet teacher ever, thanks to u I'm really good now at crocheting, I can make my own designs too, 2nd loved the earings so much and I have lots of earings ideas too
I like med size earrings, but I prefer to wear clip on earrings. I got the yarn needed to make the chunky yarn crochet cap. I will start on it next week.
OMG goodness you are a godsend... thanks for this tut i have thjis small needle but didn't know what to do with it. going to joann's now to get that type of thread to make some earrings.
@Sorrrow1984 If you have earrings in the store that are similar, you may be able to take them apart and attach the crochet section. Any type of earring will work.
Love love love it, I hope you do more videos on how to make accessories, I'm kinda stuck on just making circular things, I need different shapes lol thank you for all your videos.

Thanks for the tutorial. For the first time I'm working with this type of yarn and it's so small. You make it look so easy. :o) I think I'm going to make a pair to match my purse I'm making. Thanks again.

I like med size earrings, but I prefer to wear clip on earrings. I got the yarn needed to make the chunky yarn crochet cap. I will start on it next week.

So pretty! I ought to try making them sometime soon, I only hope I can find those earings, haven't seen any of them in stores where I live.

@Sorrrow1984 If you have earrings in the store that are similar, you may be able to take them apart and attach the crochet section. Any type of earring will work.
