I've the same problem that you showed us in this video.

I think thats the case which I loose, if you touch it or put some pression in one of the sides the sound will go away. Now this may be because of vibration of the console itself while the DVD is spinning. I hope this helps

Something must be wrong with his, mine is whisper quiet except when I put in Alan wake it start to get a little loud it only does that for that game only any other game it is quiet

well it also depends on where you put it i mean at first i put it onto an ikea lack table and it made the same noises (or even louder) as in this video cause thanks to the tables light structure it started resonating thus amplifying the noise of the slim but on a more solid non resonating surface(i tried on the floor) it was whisper quiet with non installed and installed games as well.

yes maybe its quiet when its not doing anything, but now that the console is quiet the fkin powerpack is loud, i can actualy hear the power pack fan over the console! and as soon as you load a game up its still as loud as the elite 360.. i was a bit dissapointed. it sounds like a lawnmower when its reading a disc

Haha dude, I was about to go to a friends house with my 360, and yes one of these new ones and these things are tough as hell. It fell off of my bed and hit my entertainment center and my bed frame three times on the way down and the thing still works and it doesn't sound any different.
