Here's the way I look at it. The second baseman has hip problems. The shortstop is getting old. The first baseman is a Maugh Vaughn clone in a year or two. Halliday is very expensive (as are all of the others) and they overpaid for a very good---not great---pitcher in Lee In my opinion, the Phillies have overextended themselves, and will be cryin' the blues in a year or two (of course, by then, they may have won twice)..
