my good friend...if you put it on a thumb drive, I can get it off said thumb drive. No matter what. it is the equivalency of having a safe that fits in your car. Yeah you cant open it, but someone could always take it and open it at their leisure. Figured I would mention it, cracking the password would be a function of time, and with a half assed key generator routed out of a quality gpu, it would take maybe 5 minutes. Such a small device cant create modulation that takes a long time to crack.

@john762x39 encryption in analogy is an essay written with characters which through different methods, come out to stand for the actual info you have. Because letters repeat in words, and because words repeat in an essay (consider the repeditive formatting points of english grammar) the real message can be gleaned via repititions in the encryption. Passwords can be cracked simply by trying over and over with different options, gpu's are the most efficient at this kind of number crunching

@azreal289 gpu's calculate three dimetional\numerical equivalencies of a large # of small geometric shapes used in a game to make the picture. Numerical calculation is inherently more efficient in the gpu. Very simple programs can be written that just keep trying passwords until something gives. Yoru thumb drive doesnt contain programming that limits the number of tries and it doesnt perform periodical key recombination of the encrypted data. That stuff is too complex for a little drive.

That just shocks me this EDC vid would have been a lot more interesting had you pulled out a sig p226 or kimber 1911 and said you carry it IWB or something. Just an idea.

At least if you always carried a gun you could respond to a threat with adequate force to defend yourself. Just my opinion.

My original video had the "Other Options" in it but i edited them out for the sake of Operational Security. For example: I would not want my anti gun friends to know i was Packing because they have a big mouth. And would tell every on they could.

Its scary to know how many machines are far out of speck . From what i have seen, I would say 3 out of 10 give you up to 500% more they your suppose to get

just for your information..I used to carry electrical tape and a lighter separately. You can wrap the BIC with the electrical tape...it works great, and eliminates bulk..

Sorry, what is the pocket disseminator (I think that's what you said it was), where is it obtained? I've searched google and found absolutely nothing except a grenade that you're supposed to carry in your pocket. As much as I want a grenade (wow), I have no practical use for one, and I'd think it would MAKE you the terrorist, not protect you from them.

I just posted a comment to amoncur1 about the lack of a gun. While I have no problem with this at all, I believe a less than lethal option should be carried. I find a Mace 10% OC Pepper Gard (Personal 18gm. size) to fit the need and to be legal w/o a permit in most, if not all, jurisdictions. I also cast my vote w/ KalCond... regarding the quality of Victorinox SAKs. Determine the blades you may use and choose a model that fits those needs. Nice video.

I agree. but i did not put any firearms in the video because, i feel people focus on the gun and not the main part of the kit. I believe the people have not only a right but an obligation to carry a firearm. The Second Amendment does not give the right to carry a firearm. It just confirms your god given right to own and carry.

Absolutely. In fact the Government does not give us any rights. We already have those rights, we have simply ceded some powers to the Government. Government has no rights, only powers; and, only the one's we give it. As for an obligation to carry, I wouldn't want anyone who is not comfortable around guns and willing to spend enough time to learn to use them safely and effectively carrying them. Yes, it is a right, but I don't feel it's a responcibility. We're on the same page. :-)

I don't know what you can carry because of your Job or Law restrictions but I would think about carrying a one handed folding knife. I find it rather useful. Might I suggest carrying a standard folder instead of your Swiss army. It shouldn't be to much of a problem either if you carry a Leather Wave all the time. The Wave should be able to do whatever you need.
