dubstep artists integrate other peoples music into a very formulaic style. most of the time just ripping tunes off and adding a generic kick snare and wob wob bass line. dont get me wrong dubstep is the shit but feist reinvented the baroque folk genre. she writes all of her own music, plays instruments, and blows people away with her voice. and that does not compare to a general knowledge of music and a computer program. cant wait to be attacked by the dubheads for that comment.

@magic0WB i do agree with you that alot of dubstep is just ripping off tracks that were already at there prime, but it is an artwork that some people are quite good at, not everyone can just hop on a computer, download a program and produce a good remix, just like not everyone can do there own version of a salvador dali painting or recreate an ancient roman sculpture.

i do agree that alot of people do make really shitty remixes that just ruin the feeling of the song
