To my memory I donot know any other folk song was ever sung by so many music-maestros of India/Pakistan in so many raagas, so its popularity is unquestionable. One of them is Mehendi Hassan of Pakistan has given the song a new dimension by inter-weaving Folk-Ghajal-classics....

@Pigroota first of all learn about India and Indian Culture then say anything.Im not being protective but being rational...Im an Indian and I agree that some things from our past havnt been much socially acceptable but that doesnt mean you can say anythin from S*** to whatever about India

@Pigroota This song is very old folk song of Desert Dwellers of Rajasthan and had been and is being sung by mostly all the renowned singers of India and Pakistan,,,,,and truly speaking it is very close to every Rajasthani's heart...hence if you can't appreciate it, please don't pass light comment on it.

In colors TV's new show '' Balikaa Vadhu '' vasant's wife killed by vasant and his mother because vasant and his mother wants a vaaris,

So , vasant's mother said to daai that killed that woman who is not able to give us a vaaris.

I want only a boy as a vaaris.

After seeing this incident I think that vasant and his mother must be in Jail.

But they are enjoing their life in their big house, why ?

Why they are not in the Jail, why why why ??

that is because she died while delivery and was not killed .that is a different thing that they did not obey the doctor but no jail for this reason.

first of all she dies on medical complications during delivery due to few miscarriages at tender age, so it could not be called a murder but yes it was kind of as the husband did not took a stand but it happens in rural areas till now. if someone complained u need witnesses to do something about it and the lady agreed on her own as her mother in law and husband wanted it.

To change this stuff we need women to change first take a stand yes it will be painfull but that is the only way.
