Its a shame the AI is so dumb...Soldiers don't take cover properly, they run at you shooting like crazy, or just ignore you're there. But i think that could be fixed, i hope so because everything else looks great.

Also, im more than certain that when you buy the game anpop it in that it will auto direct you to a game patch. Capcom was rushing this game out, but slant six needed more time, it was supposed to be out in november, but had too many bugs. It's funny though, IGN praised bethesda's glitchy ass games. Their games are ALWAYS broken

@Fade2Dark Actually no, i saw the "1st mission gameplay" official video, and ironically thats the one i saw more AI problems. Like one time when the team enters a room and theres this soldier just standing there taking shoots to the face with no reaction, for example. Its a good thing ign wrote that so the issues get more attention. Skyrim is so broken is unbeliavable, hilarious even! lol

I know this game is a what if mode.

However considering Leon mentioned no one when he got recruited by the government (except Umbrella he just didn't mention exact people). Would that make this game cannon if you don't choose to kill Leon (you have the choice in game)? I mean they dont encounter Jill or Carlos they are multi player only and Clare doesn't need to mention them she just searched for her brother. So this might technically be the cannon RE2 and RE3.

@TheSuperCRASHer The Spec Ops campaign is apparently part of an expansion pack, which is BS as it should be part of the full game. Each team campaign will be 6 missions running at 30 min. each, so 3 hours for each campaign.

@TheSuperCRASHer Well like I said, the USS campaign will take only 3 hours, then prob 3 hours for the Spec Ops whenever that comes out as DLC. I say if you have a Redbox nearby with game rentals, pay the $2/day when the game releases and see if it's worth keeping after beating it in a day. There's always the multiplayer aspect, but the singleplayer always comes first for me (except for Battlefield games).

@sharkey1337 That was a mathmatical error. Resident Evil 5 was suppose to take place 10 years after the events of Raccoon city, but it was only about 9 years after the events. Besides, it was stated with xbox that it's set in 2013. Whether it's true or not, this game is a sequel.

@sharkey1337 I can guarentee it will be more than just 3 hours, the amount of shit that Capcom would get would be unheard of, It wont be an RPG length game but I wouldn't doubt it if it runs along the length of RE4 around 20 hours or so or a bit less to like 15 hour with RE5 since that game ranged depending on the person so ill put an average. That and mltpl run throughs would increase play time, if it were 3 hours they would have an angry community and would never sell a game again

Also, if you read the latest previews that go through the first 4 missions of the game, you can see there's not much to the missions themselves, matching the approximate 30 minute length. Granted there's lots of replayability for the game, and with the Spec Ops missions it doubles the campaign, but don't expect a meaty campaign for solo play.

The game is going to at least be around 10-15 hours. Resident Evil 4 was around that long, and it still had high replayability.

@Jessssse102 From the info that's out there, it's definitely looking like a 3-4 hour campaign. Quite a few games nowadays feature shorter campaigns, but they still sell. Hell, just look at the Call of Duty franchise, those games have about 4 hour campaigns but it's their multiplayer that people are paying for. Pretty much similar to ORC, it's a third person shooter with emphasis on multiplayer. This isn't a regular RE game, it's a spin-off title that's a shooter. The DLC will add another 3 hours
