This was the song .......55th and the lake front Chicago Illinois .........Big Ups to all the ole schoolers from ....SOUTH SHORE, HYDE PARK , THE HIGHLANDS, THE MANOR, CHATHAM ,AVALON PARK
Nothing but good memories .......BIg up to all the ole schoolers from Chicago ....All the Love to the Bruthas and sister from Hyde Park, South Shore , the Highlands , Jeffrey Manor...ANd Pill hill...nothing but good Memories. Chicago Ill......Kenwood Academy 1983
wow, I remember this playing at Bonds international on 45th and Broadway back in 1984 when I was 15, the music lives on. Gay music? far from it, as you kids say these days, back then this was the shiznit. It was about dancing and having fun, not the negative crap, we hear thats called music these days.
@vbierry yes this is what he sampled but listen to the words this song is about gay love [you and me will be holding hands and living free] well that's what my gay friends tell me still a jam heard it at the warehouse club alot in Chicago met my wife there too music is the fn key (House Head)
@vbierry I partied to this as a teenager. It wasn't gay at all. Some of the most dangerous guys I knew listened and danced (with women) to this joint. If you weren't thorough, you had better leave the party early because cats would be outside "testing your gangster" afterwards.
In Memory Of DJ Raul Soto from Gothams West, Latin Quarters, Bway96 all in NYC
