  • Wow what a calm horse, you have done yourself proud! Made me laugh, too....

  • Funny video. I use a form of natural horsemanship with my horses. Simply being, I use everyday objects in training them, I get them around the objects which we may come into contact with when out riding, etc. Also, when training a new horse, I don't just go in for the kill, I get the horse to trust me first. You have to get to know the horse and the horse has to get to know you. That is what I think of as natural horsemanship. Thanks for the video though. It was funny!

  • ill tell u wats silly and its this video! if u haven't noticed ppl that use natural horsemanship get better results than those who don't sooooo......what does that tell you?!!! also don't go making fun of natural horsemanship cos your probs just jealous of it

  • You don't have to buy things for natural horsemanship! You people are close minded and obviouslt don't have a close connection with your horses.

  • I totally love this sooooo glad I found it.....have watched it so many times!

  • this is fantastic, so funny!! NH is a ridiculous money making PRODUCT. What they preach is common sense something you shouldnt have to buy. You dont need their gadgets and gizmos just listen to your horse and use your brain!

    absolutely hilarious video, love it!

  • det är klart att man inte behöver träna sin häst i Nh för att få den att bli orädd. Men vissa hästar behöver den träningen och det är därför man vänder sig till NH ;)

  • I still laugh at this every time I watch it!!!! So awesome!

  • @fancigal Glad to keep you happy :-)

  • Hvis du hadde lest litt mer og sett på ting. så hadde du skjønt at horsemanship, er ikke tull.

  • Comment removed

  • Lawnmowing in the ice and snow = classic.

  • The horse seemed happy enough, thats all that matters really

  • It looks stupid at first, but, actually, this guy has a wonderful connection with this horse. All horses should be this unafraid of humans and their "toys", although I have to add that I think the lawn mower was pushing the limits!

  • Priceless - great sense of humour! Pity it's lost on those who manage to fall at the first hurdle by taking themselves far too seriously....

  • I don't think this video set out to track down morons, seems they have a knack of searching things out unassisted and then force themselves to watch when they could be enjoying themselves watching some Rolkur or such.

  • pretty placid horse... try it with a warmblood

  • @JoyceLeeLifeCoach

I doubt my 3 yr old warmblood would mind that much, it doesn't matter on the breed, its their lifestyle and the way you react and handle them!

I think this video is awesome, very funny and I nearly cried at the trumpet and flag. Very good!!!

  • try that with a warm blood

  • Why the bit?

  • That horse is like "You idiots!" lol Good horse though.

  • Natraul horsemanship is getting your horse to listen to you like you were in a horse herd and you were the lead horse instead of listening to all the metal in their mouths and whips. They DO learn to trust you. There is alot of proof of that. I think you need to check out Stacy Westfalls videos or some Parelli videos

  • Haha LOL! xD

Tycker dock du har fått det här med NH helt om bakfoten. :)

NH är inte ett sätt att träna hästen, det är att umgås med hästen på ett sunt sätt och förstå hästen och varför den reagerar som den gör. :)

Som din häst verkar lita på dig!

    DET är Natural Horsemanship :)

Rolig video annars, trumpet-scenen ÄGDE ju!!! XD

(funny video, but this is not what Natural Horsemanship is about. It's not a way of training, but a way to understand and befriend your horse so it trustes you =))

  • That is one of the best videos ever!

  • This is so funny! Marching to music!

  • I feel sorry for your horses.

  • horse pulling his own trailer!!! hahaha

  • lol! this is hilarious! im not a fan of "natural horsemanship" horses with this type of training are usually pushy and disrespectful of their handlers (from what ive seen). The trumpet part made my day!

  • @DeRosa88 but its natural. its loving and kind and doesn't work. I agree with you they all say how great this NH stuff is but the horses have no respect for anyone handling them. not sure what this guy does but it obviously worked for him.

  • Each horse has their specific personality. You can't judge all horses after your own horses' behaviour. There is much more work with some horses, and running a lawn mower machine between its legs require allot of trust from him, and you just don't get that trust free. Even when born in captivity, it learn to trust you. And in your case, the horse learn that his leader (you) is crazy, but not dangerous ;)

  • Comment removed

  • That horse you have is such a nice horse. How old is he?. I want him :)

  • I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the trumpet part. xD

  • Can u teach him to push the lawn mower?

  • This is funny! And think about it, that horse is awazing doing all thoe things! AWSOME!

  • I think this is funny ! A horse pulling it's own trailer - priceless. You've got to see the humor in the big scheme of things. Love it !

  • LOL, This Made Me Laugh.

  • You obviously know nothing about natural horsemanship!

  • Omgoodness...

that is absolutly hilarious.. not the training itself, the horse i find is very well trained, but as for that guy playing the trumpet... that is just horrid, i play the trumpet myself, and that is terrible playing o.0

  • lighten up people, I found it humorous.

  • why do u need a stick and a book to do NH just ride ur horse bareback, become friends with it

  • I personally believe that "Natural Horsemanship" is just understanding horses and why they are afraid of things. It's a way to work with them and be their leader without whipping them. Parelli can kiss my ass cause he's nothing but B.S. But please don't put down all types of Natural Horsemanship. Keep an open mind ;)

Video was funny as all hell though!!

  • Got a lil bit nervous when the lawn mower went around the horse but u and the horse were very calm :) good work both u to have a very strong bond. I can see it. :)

  • Horse:Please get thing out from under me I've seen what it does to all my grass!

This video's funny but alas everything funny has people mad about it.....

  • I practice 'natural horsemanship' although not in the sense of parelli and carrot sticks and rope halters. And I enjoyed your video! Because it seems like you get what NH was meant to be about before so many people made it so silly and useless. Obviously the horse in this video is calm, not nervous, and is willing to do whatever.. no hundred dollar glorified crop needed.

  • If natural Horsemanship is SO TERRIBLE and Can't Ever Possibly work... How come My 3 and a Half year old Thoroughbred Filly is not only better behaved than Most other horses but Also Runs TOO me and Chooses me to look after her when somthing scary is near?????

  • so, what excactly is this guy trying to prove?? he's obviously spent a lot of time desensitising his horse to all this shit, great, makes him a safe and confident horse( which is one of the objectives of natural horsemenship to begin with)...anyway, he -the human- is behaving like a complete asshole, a clown but not funny

  • HAHAHAHA!!!!! I do natural horsemanship but I thought this video was the funniest thing ever. You totally remind me of one of my friends. Great video!!! I liked the marching to music part best hahaha.

  • Tetrapack you have not deceived us - we know you are not a real horse whisperer - where is your magic stick and your 50 euro headcollar for us to buy:)

  • @Jinete789 i do like this comment, try parelli 380 pounds for a pad, 125 for a stick???

  • Ahhhhh. A kindred spirit terkapak!!! Thank you for making me nearly pee my pants laughing. Your video is hilarious, and your horse is great! A horseman is a horseman, and training horses has been done for hundreds of years, very well, without the "aid" of Natural Horsemanship crap!! Its only a marketing gimmick, I hope will blow over soon!

  • ok this guy is weird but natural horsemanship is nothing like this. look up stacy westfall she deos amazing natural horsemanship you have it all wrong. i don't like this video.

  • I think this video was meant to be comical, because if you don't pay attention to what the guy is doing, you see that the horse is very well trained and spookproof. If you were to try those things on a horse who isn't properly trained, than it would freak out. I thought this was a very awesome video~!

  • very funny!

  • putting a lawn mower under your horse..... wow thats ASKING for your horse to get cut up. if you think nh doesnt work , your rediculous. poor horse =`( i feel for the poor thing

  • What breed is he? Ardenner? He is absolutely GORGEOUS!

Not many horses would go for the lawn mower under neath, mine is an air fern!

Love the fake beard it completes the look :)

  • I have had two episodes now of silly NH. My horse is somewhat like this one and I was told he was dominant and arrogant and the instructor kicked his front legs so hard that he is sore today- that was to make him walk backwards. He knows the word "Back"- but she wasn't interested in that....he had to make her look good- somehow.

  • That was great.

  • THIS IS EPIC! I Love Swedish people!

  • Hey, if natural horsemanship works, it works... no need to make fun of those who implement it. If you don't agree with it, you don't agree with it...

  • LOL...NH is such a vague term. I would bet that NONE of the people who've commented use the same training techniques at all. But apparently they're all using "Natural Horsemanship". I guess it makes them feel like more accomplished horsemen?

  • auch gut das pferd zieht seinen eigenen Anhänger

  • Lol. Great Video!

  • I personally have an open mind to NH. In my opinion there are aspects of numerous methods with horses that combine to achieve the perfect partnership. It isnt about what other people tell you will work, it is about what you and your horse together, finds works for you both. True NH cannot be taught, it is an instinct. We can however help others to understand their horses.

  • This is just so funny, but what is even funnier are the people commenting that he is taking the mickey because he is no good at NH!!! Hello, look at the video! Here is a guy doing things with his horse that just about any and all NH practitioners aspire to! And his horse is completely relaxed and happy.

  • Too freaking funny.

  • yes, this natural horsemanship thing is very silly. except the $40.00 plastic flag on a stick.......... way to part silly folks from their money one majik plastic flag on a stick at a time!

  • Ahahahahahahaha! What a fantastic horse.

  • haha, this is a very funny video. I loved the 'marching to music' part with the flag waving. The flag seems to be a natural horsemanship favorite! and yes, your long hair is adorable!

  • haha, this is a very funny video. I loved the 'marching to music' part with the flag waving. The flag seems to be a natural horsemanship favorite!

and yes, your long hair is adorable!

  • Hehehe.. nice video! Very funny :) I do like the natural horsemanship philosophy, but I think the main goal is to get the horse to follow and trust you - and you've managed that in a perfect way. :) What kind of horse is it? It's beautiful!!!

  • yoru an complete idiot. i feel sorry for your horse.

  • I find it funny how many angry comments there are saying you need to do more research on NH, clearly you have a fantastic understanding of how horses think and asking them to work along with you rather than forcing the horse with ropes and whips, your horse is awesome! Clearly these are people with too much money to spend on NH products and not enough brains...

  • @Justasam Couldn't have said it better! :-) Great horse!!

  • PS: Yes i write bad, i am sorry for this it was written i a bad way. I am dysleksian, but I can do better. And I am from Norway so it's not my naitive tunge.

  • Yiu paople dont get it do you? This guy must have an amazing ralationchip with his horse to do all this things with it! I'ts made to enertain! He stratet a friking garss cutter under it! And plays that horrible music instrument on top of it! This horse has skillz!

  • This is fantastic. I just recently got a horse after many years of not having one and now that I'm back in it, I just chuckle at all the people that will only listen to someone if they have initials or NH or something after their name. What he's doing in his video and what I do is nothing more than spending time, listening to and understanding the horse from the horse's perspective.

  • i couldn't help laughing either

  • (sorry, continuation from comment beneath) ...that could make him go into really, really 'scary' situations. In the classic approach, horses are being punished if they do not behave as required. I cannot believe you taught your horse to accept the lawn-mawer that way, while whipping it! See? You use NHS yourself. BUT I do agree with you, that sometimes horses might understand us better than we understand them. And I think all this counts for dogs as well. OK, let the critics come... ;)

  • :)))) Very funny, because really, Amyp4Horses is right, your horse is bomb-proof! If you ever think of selling it...

Terkapak, I think you apply Natural Horsemanship without knowing your doing so. Your horse will probably follow you about everywhere, alos into new, 'scary' situations, because it DOES trust you. It will probably follow ME as well because like you said, it is used to higher levels of stress, but I really think you would be the only person for this horse that could make him

  • HAHA! This is sooooo funny! Your horzse is truly bomb proof! xD My new favourite Video! Althought I do like and agree with Natrual Horsemanship, This is still really funny!

  • you all are way to serious, this video is genius and hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sense of humor PEOPLE!!!! I love this horse.

  • lol this is so stupid its almost funny

  • That horse is a saint xD

  • Ha Ha I LOVE it! what can be natural about a predator sitting on a herbivores back? All you who are slavishly following the "natural" route jump on this Terkapak, consider can you do what he can? If you can't then keep your comments to yourself. This rash of people selling psychobabble crap is embarrassing to the rest of who practice the horsemanship that was handed down from Xenophon time

  • You clearly have not tried any of these training techniques for yourself. I rescue horses that have been deeply traumatized and the only thing that works consistently is the natural horsemanship approach. Yes, horses will always be prey animals but you can desensitize them and reduce their flighing instinct.

  • I like this video. It's awesome, good humour, lovely horse, and a load of controversial comments. What more could you want?

I use Parelli, and have taught my horse to jump tackless, and non-parellis say why would I want to? Umm.. BECAUSE IT'S FUN!! That's the POINT of horses, you clearly have fun with yours in your way, I have fun with mine in my way!! Horses don't care what method you use, or what halter you have on them, as long as it isn't over-restrictive or painful - they just want fun!!

  • Well I can see where you are coming from when you say that horses don't feel the same way that humans do. But I think personally working with them for all my life that if a horse and a human understand each other then you can have a good bond with them, not all horses can be trusted with natural horsemanship. Now speaking from a comical view this video was pretty funny. Your weren't being offensive, just speaking your mind and I respect that. =)

  • Even if you are lucky enough to meet a really good horse person, it does not help much if you do not try to see, think and feel for yourself. No one can feel for you, you must do this yourself.

  • When we have people who teach us, we students often just listen and we stop thinking for themselves. We stop to look and feel. Or rather, we see, but rely more on others than on our own eyes. The horse is really our best teachers. Most horses expect that we are active students who test and try and learn from our mistakes. And we trust what we see and feel.

  • I do not think NH is wrong but there is one thing I want to say: We people mean well, but we does not treat the horses in their natural way. There are many knowledgeable horse people, but we others that is not so good from the top believe that the talented always have right. We forget that we also become skilled over time and therefore miss out to trust ourselves and to consider if we can do one thing at a different and better way...

  • I love this video--and that horse! What a sweetie!

  • (And btw this video's hilarious :P)

  • NH is overrated. It's a bunch of methods that can easily be abused. The thing about making the horse used to different things and act as a reliable person to them, is just common sense and nothing ''natural horsemanship'' can claim the name of.

  • i have world's best relationship to my pony, because of Natural Horsemanship. We play, and she is able to live a life as a horse, and not as a slave!

I'm not a horse whisperer, i just pretend to be a horse, so i can understand her.

I know that she trust me. She lays down, and follows me around everywhere. She knows that i know where it is safe to go. My pony is my best friend.

  • Oh dear. See, you got that wrong. Natural Horsemanship is nothing like "Horse Whisperer". It's just a way of growing a good relation with your horse, trust, and working with your horse in a very natural way.

  • @terkapak Okay, well. Has a horse told you that himself? You seem so sure about yourself, yet you don't have any proof that you're right. Look, if a horse didn't trust a human, he would never cross a piece of plastic material on the ground (according to me). Horses do have trust, otherwise they wouldn't have leaders in their packs. The other members trust the leader to help them to survive. In the case of horse and human, the human is the leader. That's my point of view.

  • @terkapak Of course there is trust. You obviously have not researched this very well if you believe this is the case. It is called NATURAL horsemanship because you don't use whips or bitts or any other unnecessary metal objects and train your horse NATURALLY by creating trust and understanding. It has been proven it works and all you need to do is a bit of research. What good can kicking and whipping your horse do when you can use other more humane methods and get the same if not better results

  • @terkapak your sick

  • @terkapak

This is so stupid. You have no clue.

You know nothin about horses, and nothin about nature.

Of course horses can feel, feel trust and anything you can feel as well.

  • @JaguarsShadow94 ... Did you see how well trained that horse was? How it didn't flinch at anything, how it acted as though this kind of thing happened to him every day?

If terkapak knew nothing about horses, this video wouldn't exist.

  • @Azurarose well to be fully honest its mostly because of its breed its either an ardenner or nordsvensk and both have extremely calm temper. sure the horse is trained im not saying that but he shouldnt humiliate people training horses in a way thats good for them

  • Comment removed

  • @terkapak i totally agree! horses don't have the same emotions that humans have. any reference book can tell you that. it's not in their pshycological make-up

  • super, die pferde müssen eben nur ordentlich kontakt mit dem menschen haben, dann geht fast alles !

  • Love it! XD After all the stupid videos I've seen describing NH as the ultimate, perfect riding method for happy riders and happy horses with hair and manes in the wind... That video is really refreshing. I like and respect natural horsemanship but that critics of it's exagerations is just wonderful. Thanks for it.

  • Hi terkapak:

So many jealous and hostile comments!

I want you know that you are a master horseman and that the human and horse relationship you took the time to video for the rest of the world is heart warming.

Also love your light hearted approach. You and your horse look more relaxed and natural than anything I have ever witnessed; nothing contrived.

Bravo! Thank you for sharing. You have the intelligence and self-confidence of someone destined for fame.

  • That's awesome :D I love to see someone poke good fun at natural horsemanship, and it's good to see that you can get the exact same results - a beautifully trained horse - the normal way. Way to go. :)

  • ROFLMAO!!

  • this is a funny vid... the horse is pretty cool..

  • i think i love you and your horse....you should go on tv!!!! very funny...

  • I just love your video, it makes me laugh everytime I see it!! :-)

    Couldn´t agree more with you!

  • I love your horse!!! Excellent video!

  • brilliant, to all the NH people out there that might be feeling upset at this video, stop taking yourselves so seriously :-)

  • Agreed! Find some humor people. He isn't making fun of real training, just stupid training.

  • Jag gillar hästen men jag tycker synd om den för att den har hamnat hos dej!

  • inte nåe faali alls! hahaha xD

  • Thank you for a good laugh! XD

The horse seems to have good sense of humour! A real friend!

  • If you think that natural horsemanship serves no real purpose then you must not know very much about the nature of horses or the concepts natural horsemanship is based upon. Perhaps you should do a little more research before you go around talking about things you don't understand!!! >:(

  • @CowboyCrossfire I understand. But you seam to have limited understanding based on your oppinons expressed above. That is caracteristic. The total lack of self critisism.

  • i love NH and this horse really trusts his owner but his owner is just taking his pony for granted. its not fair on the pony that the man doesnt really care about NH and his pony is trying sooo hard to please him!!!!

  • seriously?

  • hahahaha FUNNY! wow bomb proof horse!

  • Pretty horse, bad owner.

  • hahahahah ASG!!! håller själv på med NH, men denna videon var fan bäst XD

  • hahahahah ja dör

  • "Natural Horsemanship is one of the silliest things I know!" Why?! Just because tou´re not good at it?! That was a question, because IF you´re not good at it, you might thínk it is. BUT, NH is one of the most beautiful things in the world! I train it with my keeper horse, and sence I have begining to do that, she is so much nicer to ride! She listens at me, she does everything she can for me! So if it is because you´re not good at it, THINK AGAIN! I CAN HANDLE CRITIC!

  • @AnimalDreamer

look at the video. he is good at it.

  • @AnimalDreamer I agree, I think he is right about one thing. Horses do understand you, but you can also understand them. But you have to admit... It was hilarious.

  • @AnimalDreamer ummmm have you watched the video? That horse is a saint and he can do whatever he likes with it... I think he's pretty good at 'training' horses... whatever way he chooses.

IMO anyone good at NH style training would be a good trainer in any style.... however many very bad trainers fall into the NH umbrella. Just an observation.

I hope english is not your first language...

  • @MBRA518 Well said!

  • Nah, u cant handle crtic. sence isnt spelt like that. :P Natural horsemanship is not silly, u are.

  • LMAO!!! SO brilliant! I like natural horsemanship though, but a lot of people misunderstand it and there are sooooo many people out there who are selling it but have no idea what theyre talking about! this is great though, and wonderful horse you have there!

  • "Natural Horsemanship is one of the silliest things I know. How can any reasonable person believe in it? In this movie I pretend to be a horsewisper. I am not! I'm just showing you what most horses do anyway after some six thousand years together with one carzy man after another. So to all you out there who think you understand something about horses. You don't! It's your horse that understands you! At least that is what I think."

If horses don't trust you, that doesn't mean they trust no one.

  • I train horses using Natural Horsemanship methods, and I love this video!!

It's too bad that many people misunderstand what NH is. There is no one method of NH, it's only an umbrella term used for methods that teach trust and respect, rather than bullying or forcing the horse into submission ('breaking' horses).

The horse in this video obviously trusts his handler, and seems respectful as well. So I would go as far as to say he is infact using a form of natural horsemanship!

  • Well said MeadowMuffin...I believe NH to be a form of communication, rather than a training technique...it is all about bonding, trust, and respect....a willing partner, is the result...it is simple to do, with a little knowledge about horses, and behavior, anybody can improve their relationship with their horse, if they just gave it an honest chance....it is not a style or technique, it is a language more than that....

  • wow that is a bomb proof horse! my gelding is ok with plastic bags but anything 'scarier' than that and he's gone! :P just a bit of harmless fun (at the expense of super-devoted NH!)

  • :D the marching to music part was the best :D i love your horse ;)

  • Hahahaaaa vad roligt :-)

  • haha lol

  • That was funny, I hate the whiney people saying "thats dangerous" . They just don't have the experience with horses to try these things, if you know your horse it's not dangerous, I also agree with the comment on whisperers and scared riders, but wich is worse- an intimidated woman seeking help, or a tuff guy that doesn't know s%$# that takes it out on the horse? When trained, they are more comfortable in our world, they are more valuble and used more because of it, living longer happier lives.

  • definitely a good video worth a chuckle. Some of the things any type of training promotes seem stupid and useless, especially if you have a horse like yours who is so laid back its amazing. BTW, you might want to check his pulse. just in case. =P

  • That horse is amazing... That's what I'd call bomb proof!

  • are you sure it has blades???? and you can tell that horse is not gonna kick that mover...... dude come on!!!!..... and about americans, look at the comments. stupid people!

  • this is truely the stupiest video i have ever seen. natural horsemanship isnt trying to be a horse whisper but use trusting methods. It truely just wasnt funny. And americans arent stupid for trying to form a bond with their horse thats diffrent from yours. I use just a bit of natural horsemanship but that still doesnt give anyone the right to call Americans stupid!

  • His ideas are spot on, the goofy way is just entertainment, but some of the things I would deem dangerous. The mower under the horse was stupid, what if it kicked it and those blades hit the horse or the guy.

  • That's a country I want to go to!!!!! May I come visit you???

  • Yes of course you can

  • this kid is correct , I love it because all these so called American horse wisperer are bullshit , they make money from these middle aged women who are afraid of their horses and rides them so badly with such pain that horses become difficlut , so these so called wisperer make themselves as heros . Horses are pretty easy going animals ,and I rescue TB from track as long as people are normal .... but then again not amny normal people in America maybe that is why there are so many wisperers ??

  • i must say i totally LOVE this video. makes me lol every single time!

  • LOL i love that horse! and the way the other one looks at it as if to say "WTF dude??? just W.... T....F?" this is a very funny video.

  • lol-i don't relly get the blurb. i do natural horsemanstuff but this iz friggin HILARIOUS!!!

  • haha! i love this, it's so funny! Good job :D

  • look each and every horse is diffrent some will respond better nh and some might not there r others who respond to work hair play fair kinda thng but the owners riders dries knows wats best and use use tht to keep their ponie hrseses happy and relaxed

  • The only possible reason you think it doesn't work is because YOU couldn't stay consistent and gave up. Seriously, it's not hard. CONSISTENCY is the key people!

  • I find it sad how ignorant people are these days...

If you honestly believe natural horsemanship doesn't work, then why is it working on my horse? Don't believe me? Check out my videos. Now, I'm no expert and I'm only doing a few parelli techniques, but they are working, and my horse and I are UNDERSTANDING each other. It's not either the horse or the person that does the understanding. It's BOTH. Horsemanship teaches the rider and horse to respect one another and make things simple.(c)

  • Natural horsemanship is awsome. Its the people who dont understand it who think it is crap, because they get fustrated with theie horses and dont have enough patience. Natural horsemanship starts by the human understanding the horse and then the horse will understand you!!!

  • Hehe! This is so funny! I've done the games and whatnot, and with SOME horses and SOME people, NH can work well. But, my horse, who has had no NH training, can move over or back with a light touch, and actually STANDS STILL, unlike many of the horses in my area trained using NH. He can also ride bareback in a flat halter, or a rope halter. No, he doesn't move over when I swing my little rope. But he round pens better than most horses at the Parelli barn I sometimes ride at. NH is not everything.

  • he's very funny...i know several trainers who think parelli is some sort of God. natural horsemanship to me is just less traumatic than some other horse training methods. the one thing i noticed more than anything else is how almost every horse person knows just about everything about horses...i think i get the point here. anyway, i wouldn't say natural horsemanship is total crap. i think a healthy mix of traditional or normal techniques with natural is good...

  • I agree that most of the Parelli training is about gimmicks and selling "specialty" equipment that is unnecessary. It's the people who take it too far that give natural horsemanship a bad name. This guy in the video doesn't help since he obviously has no clue what natural horsemanship entails.

  • Wonderful!

  • This just totally made my day. Hysterical!

  • haha i love your video. I like the old orginal natural horsemanship, like monty roberts. but the parelli and the other new ppl are just a bunch of crap.

  • Natural horsemanship by definition is teaching a horse using his own natural instincts and herd leadership. I ride my horse bridleless using no ropes or whips. How can I do that? By regular round pen work using natural horsemanship techniques (no gimics) and demanding respect from my horse but also returning the favor. Those who think natural horsemanship is a load of crap should understand how ignorant they are to pass judgement. Why don't you try it (honestly) and then formulate an opinion.

  • Agreed.

  • TOTALLY AGREE! natural horsemanship is a load of CRAP!

  • Acually mytelonelee if you watch videos about traditional horses you see that they listen to their "master" and if you look close enough you can see the whites around their eyes. But if you look at natural horses you see that they listen to the domonite but are relaxed and calm because they trust you to not lead them into danger.

  • haha i love your video. i wish people would realize that you dont have to 'make friends' with your horse so you think it trusts you. that comes from making it work hard to do the things you want and treating it like a horse not a person. lol. your horse is so adorable.
