  • I forgot about this tune from Manhunter. TY for posting. That movie had some great tunes. What an amazing movie.

  • * * * * *

  • Thank you malick2233.

One of my favorite movies of all time and the best damn track from it.

This number tells all and is an eternal rocker.

Wish I had a copy of this Cd...

  • un de mes meilleurs souvenirs musical de ce film, 6eme sens en français avec RED 7 (heartbeat) ........will graham the best

  • ... great film, great soundtrack, great pictures .... the 80s have been a damn good time

  • I love this and Manhunter is a million times better than Red Dragon. Manhunter is for the thinkers, Red Dragon for the plebs

  • Manhunter is superior to Red Dragon in every way, if you watch Manhunter again the cinematography and soundtrack work perfectly...something that very few films now do. Even if you don't like Mann's direction it is still a far deeper film.

  • Neither film really got it right for me, although I like Manhunter much more than Red Dragon. Mann's a much better director than Ratner, and though he actually strayed further from the novel's source material, his vision of the characters are much more realized and resounding. I just didn't feel anything while watching most of Red Dragon like I did watching Manhunter. Noonan's Dolarhyde and Peterson's Graham are far more believable and identifiable portrayals than are found in Ratner's movie.

  • One thing I do think that Red Dragon did better than Manhunter is Freddy Lounds. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is much more effective at playing a skid mark than Stephen Lang.

  • @KNS1996DFS -_- Skid Mark ?

    lol

  • @AlienTechProductions A shit stain.

  • @KNS1996DFS wrong

  • @YuichiTaira If you saw Phillip Seymour Hoffman walking up to your house, you wouldn't answer the door.

  • @KNS1996DFS I think that both films are good, but Red Dragon is forgettable while Manhunter isn't. I think Stephen Lang nails it as Freddy Lounds. Remember that up to this point (and little after), Lang played obnoxious characters (think Happy in Death of a Salesman). Now Hoffman is a wonderful actor and does the role justice, but I think Lang's portrayal is just as good and works better in such a heavily-stylized film as Manhunter.

  • One of the best films i have ever seen in my whole life.

My best part was when he blasted the shit out of that cop at door and too a bullet epic moment then killed 3 others then Graham stopped him music is classic it makes the film just that extra more epic.

  • Just you and me now sport.

  • I love it!!

i wish i had a blind beautifl girl!

  • I love it!!

  • another awesome song peace dazza

  • Manhunter was one of the things that made the 80's great.

  • So a lifetime later I grab the book, The Red Dragon or whatever the hell it's called. I found it in the fiction part of the library. It was like telling a kid there was no Santa Claus as I had built this movie up (and watched it MANY times) SO much in my head the characters are real.

  • wait a minute @1:05 will opens the sliding door in the rain this wasn't in my dvd it just shoots will in the house is this an extended cut or something? and @2:18 the part in the white hallway zooming on the door wasn't in my dvd either

  • wait a minute @1:05 will opens the sliding door in the rain this wasn't in my dvd it just shoots will in the house is this an extended cut or something?

  • this vid has a such supernatural atmosphere !! Excellent 10+....!!

  • this vid has a such supernatural atmosphere !! ;-)

  • nice job, malick2233

  • This is why Michael Mann has so many fans. His stories can be a little weak, but they look amazing. He knows how to use music to enhance any scene. One of the reasons Miami Vice was one of the greatest TVs of all time.

  • fantastic vid, cannot believe the quality of this compared to every other poor washed out version I have seen. Waiting for the bluray to come out now.

  • good vid

  • I don't recognize 2:19 or 3:29. What version is this?

  • Comment removed

  • @alexinreallife This looks to be the Anchor Bay THX Certified DVD (which happened to, unintentionally, be a slightly different cut of the film). All other DVDs have severe washed out colors, and brightness levels vary among transfers. I did a direct comparison with the THX DVD, MGM Widescreen DVD, and the Divimax Restored Director's Cut. The biggest differences are in the film's climax where the shots of Graham in the woods are nearly devoid of color in every version except the THX DVD transfer.

  • @NickMichalak It really needs to be released on blu-ray untouched.Without a doubt, the most significant picture of the 80's!

  • Excellent Vid.

Sometimes i forget just how visually beautiful Manhunter actually is! Love it!
