i was actually happy to have my teen bring home meadow from school because it goes a lot faster because of the relationship boost, and all the sims of the opposite sex my sims get from school/work become lovers and she is really pretty.

@Jux2596 Try an "add neighbor to family" cheat. Then invite Meadow over, add her to your household and let her age up with your teen. You can add her to any playable household to let her age up, if you don't want her in the same house as your guy teen. :)

@THELADYGUAVA - you can move a townie into a household using cheats or using the insimenator download (search "InSimenator Simswiki" and follow the link.) Meadow has the Family aspiration, and makes a great mom! ;)

Sure, you can add her using an in-game cheat. Surf the web for "simhost tombstone of life and death" and you should find a tutorial on it. You just use the command window [CTRL-SHIFT-C] while playing the house you want to add Meadow to, then follow the "Tombstone of Life and Death" instructions. It's the easiest way to add little kids and teens to your family without using any hacks. :)

You have to install the expansion packs in a certain order, so if you have a variety of them, just make sure to check the order. University includes colleges so teens become Young Adults if you send them to college. Those campuses are played separately, like a whole new neighborhood with dorms, houses, and campus lots. A bit drawn out, since you have to play each term of study before they can move back to your original neighborhood as adults. I'd suggest trying the SEASONS ep instead. :)

You seem like a very nice person. I got FreeTime and I haven't installed it yet but I think you said that FreeTime was the one where you play the townies. So when I guess I should install it. Those sims seem really funny. Though, what is the University one about?

If you'd like to play some of the townies, you can always move the adults in with sims you're playing, then move those adults out and into their own place. For teens and kids, you can use the ingame cheat. Just google [ the sims 2 simshost tombstone of life and death ] and you should find a good tutorial on adding someone from the neighborhood to your family. :)

how did you get an adult to be with a teen?

I have InTeenimater. It allows teens to woohoo, have a baby, marry, be with adults, etc. Google InTeenimater and you will see a post asking WCIF? and it will lead you to the link to download the InTeenimater. Download whichever one goes with your current expansion pack. If you're running Seasons, you just need to download the one for Seasons. Always be careful to update it when you put in a new expansion pack, because it will conflict with your game.
