  • one day i will unite south east asian countries :)

  • Lets go!!!!

  • it will be hard, Africa is full of selfish tyrants, corrupt leaders of all kinds [dictators, ''elected'' or not].

Some African nations like Somalia also have a very weak government which will slow this process even more so.

Many africans also fight among themselves, not much unity & most African nations have real issues now like disease and hunger.

All of these things are obstacles but im sure Africa will unite & hopefully when united they make an economic plan. Africas the next China

  • @prjerry7 Naw they jus need to kick the whites out and the fighting will stop

  • Are you crazy? United Africa? Are you that weak minded to even push for that? Africans the western people will always have your balls in their hand if that vision is accomplish. That'll be a permanent hold on Africa forever or perennially hole

  • I wish the people of Africa the best of luck in building a united & strong Africa! May they become the kings & queens of there own homeland once again!

  • the united states of africa is still in the working. that is why the west is trying to kill gaddiffi but they are losing BADLY. the west is over lets think about dealing with our own.

  • I keep struggling with how we feed our people, educate and take care of diseases! For God sake-how long with this go on: we talk, and talk about how we've been exploited, cheated and raped by others? It seems we've talked pass the answers. We suffer and suffer. We have allowed others to even sell us weapons to decimate our people and our lands. Where do we go from here? Yes- Ukrumah made mistakes-gave us enough to work on.

  • @dapo57 Buddy the problem with we Africans is that we are not fortunate enough to have leaders of integrity in most cases. The whiteman is just fine. Anything the whiteman does to Africa in the dispensation we live in is the name of our leaders who condonne and connive their corruptible actions. This situation can be amended when most of us tend to exhibit integrity among ourselves. You cant work for the ministry of information and use government vehicles for a funeral procession in Aminase.

  • PEOPLE, we are losing our brightest and the youth to the west. It's about time we got to know each other and work together. UNITE OR PERISH!

//WITH LOVE FROM THE HORN OF AFRICA,

  • We have to understand that all African nations are going through similar problems. We have to listen to the wisdom of our forefathers. We have to be very selective about who we let into our midst. Globalisation is nothing but predatory capitalism, We have to allow some autonomy to the various ethnic groups, as well as having a functioning federal government. that works in tandem with the AU. The world salivates over our resources, and hopes that those stupid monkeys finish off each other.

  • 1. I firmly believe in the oneness of everything. Nobody can claim to have all the answers to the mysteries of the world. One thing is for sure though, humans, like all animals, have loyalties in the following order first to themselves, their kin, the human race and so forth in descending order of genetic proximity. The native inhabitants of all continents have been, with no exception, wiped out by invaders in search of land.

  • "United States of Africa" is a myth. It can't work. If individual countries in Africa are still struggling with tribalism, God forbid what can happen on a large scale. Please leave it as a dream. Thanx.

  • ne kwasea !!!

  • He is the reason why Ghana is a failure, the reason why Ghanaians are living in Europe and America in millions. Instead of using the money we had to build Ghana and gave it away to other African countries and today my country Ghana is still a developing nation. A country which gained the same independence as Malaysia and was richer than Malaysia. Fuck Nkrumah his United Africa, it will never happen in a 1000 years as long as we have dictators in Africa!!!

  • love it. I Love My People

  • I Love My People: Soon we will celebrate around the world the independence of all peoples...

  • Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah was the greatest ever African leader of my times.

Although I wasn't around when he ruled Ghana after we won our independence, but this was a great man who was full of ideas.

Nkrumah fought and changed Ghana and made sure that the African is the master of all his affairs.

  • @peasah2005

Are you aware that Nkrumah was very un-democratic? After independence he established Ghana as a one party state. He also put in place the Trade Union Act which banned strikes and put in place the Preventive Detention Act which made it easier for his gov't to jail those who disagreed with him and Nkrumah controlled Ghana's media.

  • @CrowdPleeza

Well, Nkrumah was threaten by those who wanted to end his life.

Although I don't agree with him with just one party control the whole of Ghana, but what I agree is that Nkrumah was right to jail those who wanted to bring Ghana into disrupe.

  • @peasah2005

Well I hope we can agree that it was a bad move for Nkrumah to declare himself "president for life"? Many other post-colonial African leaders seemed to have followed that example.

  • @CrowdPleeza

I agree that Nkrumah cannot say that he's President for life, but he did a remarkable job in changing the face of our country and he could've made Ghana even more greater, because of the ignorance of those who don't want change even if it's blue in their faces.

  • The free market wants an easy look on things right now they work hard to study Africa one by one, but can easily study EU markets, bonds or stocks as one.

They would want a United Africa so it’s easier to invest and scoop or dump everything at once

If you read behind the lines or understand things carefully, the West actually want a United Africa in fact they’re sponsoring its existence.

Pan-Africanism is not water tight anymore since Independence, Apartheid etc, AU is not workable.

  • United Africa will not be for Africa anyway in my opinion, the cultural difference is too much (microscopic), wealth is unequal etc these will cause more problems than solve it.

Africa is so under-developed right now that it cannot handle the pressure it if things go wrong with unification now. Even in the future, that may threaten Africa as a whole.

    cont...

  • People love to live side by side when things are going well and fight or hate each other or wish to live apart when the going gets tough.

Africa is still way ahead to living good and TRIBALISM (even within African countries themselves STUPIDLY prevalent abd disgusting). If you understand human nature, you will be slow to espouse views or ideology that will cause more harm than good.

African countries may well start with opening borders for African goods or people and see how things go.

  • People should remember that this philosophy or so to say Ideology was born out more of African unity in their struggle for independence than any other thing else. The EU created their own version to avoid conflicts (War) and nothing more but on the basis that economic interdependence would decrease the chances of armed conflict.

It has worked but the elites have now gone extreme to political and legal interdependence which may break up the EU.

  • ANDY LUMEH A BRITISH CITIZEN SINGING ABOVE IS THE FIRST BLACK PRIME MINISTER OF BRITIAIN

  • Of course the EU did glean of Nkrumah's ideas to initiate their failed project. Long love Nkrumah! Long live African Natioanlism and Long live Ghana, the Black and lode statr of Africa!

  • Ignoring the bullshit arguing on the thread, I just want to say that Dr Nkrumah was a visionary, a hero and the spark that lit the fuse of freedom across Africa.....my brother, my hero, my leader.....you are the true African hero and although it may take some time still, we will get there. THANK YOU!

  • Nkrumah was so charismatic amazing man!

  • vive unite africaine

  • United States of Africa? That will never happen.

An "African Union" comparable to the "European Union? very possible.

But in other for that to happen, each African nation involved must be fully developed, otherwise it won't work.

  • @BrKT85 .. just want to know, why cant Africa unite.. if Africa unites it can free all black from around the world ..right

  • The only way foward is to break africa into coupe regions e.g west africa , south east , central and the north . let these regions decide what kind of union they want . But U will never in YR life time see libyans united with guineans ,liberians etc black and poor africanz.. like wise never south african united with tunisans, somalis or moritainians ... our leaders have wasteting time and money for forty years, what have they achieve. we could unite by regions and cooperate continente.

  • If africans are really serious about unity ... then we should come to realism, leave the the dreams alone ... the whole of Africa can't unite, it's been over 40 yrs.

  • Visit my page currently there is another group working towards creating a united states of africa

  • we are having the power in our hands we can change africa in so many ways but let us stop critisizing ourslef that is the only secret i am sure that are pulling us back. if we stop critisizing ourslef we start to support one another africa will never being the some again

  • Kwame was a great son of Africa Soil. We got to stand up at all cost.

  • Peace! Thanks for posting this video!

  • One step towards unity is cultural exchange. We Africans need to see our brothers through our own eyes and not the prism of foreign media. Further down the road we should offer dual citizenship to our brothers in Diaspora. Make Swahili the official language of the union. Today an ETHIOPIAN can apply for Kenyan citizenship after 7 years, while a BRITT only need 5 years of residency. Abandon foreign aid. Make our leaders accountable to us.Ethnic autonomy. EDUCATION,SECULARISM,HEALTCARE,NUTRITION.

  • i truly hope to see a unified Africa in my lifetime. Africa has the potential to be a prosperous region of the world. where western influence does not matter.

best wishes for Africa, the mother land.

    peace

  • @AlexPanacro Russia is the mother land not africa, africa can be the granpa land or something cause germany already has father land

  • @ilovemesomechicken

im talking about the original home of the human species....

All humans originated in Africa. The earliest hominids were of African descent and all modern humans evolved from those hominids and migrated out of Africa.

    sorry to get technical.

  • @AlexPanacro You would think africa wouldent be such a shit hole then. (you have to admit its a shit hole)

  • @ilovemesomechicken thats not the point. perhaps its because humans migrated from africa like i said. your right you wouldn't think.

theres too many scenarios. i don't know the exact timeline of migration but i know that at one point africa had one of the greatest empires in history, but even they didn't know how to run things.

  • @ilovemesomechicken , open a book you fucking ignorant the first man was black african , when in russia the land was free of men , and then got populated by blacks people , you should seriously educates yourself before arguing with big men

  • @modjuye Russia is black? HAAHHAHAHAAH like what the great malcom negro x say "ima get me some chicken" lol

  • @ilovemesomechicken fuker i dont want to see your fucking face here askhole..

  • @TheAgboha58 for one my user name is here not my face jigaboo, no chicken for you

  • @ilovemesomechicken well you are very fun ,but i dont need your chicken no thanks

  • @TheAgboha58 how am i fun? You make no sense, you dont need my chicken? a black man who does not eat chicken? HAAHAHAHAH

  • @ilovemesomechicken fuck off ! how about pig for your dinner? fool

  • @TheAgboha58 pig for my dinner? i dont get. but i do get chicken ahahahah cause im black lol just chicken n koooooo aid

  • Bueatiful Brother

  • The Dream is still alive and we will achieve it.

  • @Seltue12

Big up to you, my brother, defintely we can accomplish our goals, because Africans do need to be in love and unity onto each other.

We haven't got nobody else than each other.

Totally true, we can achieve our goals one day.

  • @Seltue12 death is wicked!

  • it will NOT be united states of Africa, it will be New Africa United! i promise you that one and you WILL remember my words soon!

  • wow. You are very optimistic and that is really good. I hope it is able to happen. A united Africa will have a solid voice like many other unions have. Nkrumah tried his best but it was not to be. He made some concessions to build the hydro electric dam in Ghana. All the so called "financial aid" that nations receive from world super powers have so many strings attached that it ensnares the receiver rather than help. A United States of Africa was a term that Americans feared so they ruined it.

  • what i am saying has nothing to do with "optimism" or delusional thinking, just remember the term New Africa United and the name "Isa" and memorise it. you will understand it in a near future.

  • So the name won't be USA but rather NAU. We need a strong voice like Nkrumah had to bring our continent together. Our problem solving should begin with the likes of the "old fathers" to leave power- Mugabe,Ghadafi,Obiang, Kibaki and the likes. They are drawing the continent fare back whiles others move forward.

  • names like Mugabe, meles zenawi and the arab ghadafi will just vanish and disappear when ISA, the true leader of New Africa United and all of mankind, sets a foot on earth. just remember the name: New Africa United! you will begin to see the first steps towards NAU as soon as 2010, i promise you.

  • Let's wait and see how it goes then.

  • Comment removed

  • hehehe far far far from illuminati, ISA is the destroyer and killer of nwo and illuminati and he is a prophet of God, and he will lead Africa to final victory.

  • Comment removed

  • he is coming when the subhumans behind the nwo are feeling ready to destroy the whole earth (so he's here in about 3-7 years) and he will crucify them upside down. dont let the nwo and the illuminati scare or get in your face too much, they are just a small part of a much much greater plan that is divine and PERFECT!

  • Forget Mandela this man is my hero

  • Nkrumah is better than the useless leaders in our country of Ghana, because when Nkrumah was alive, he brought a new dawn to Ghana and the continent of Africa.

After Nkrumah was betrayed and died, that's when Ghana was in total turmoil.

  • The Republic of Ghana is a country in West Africa. It borders Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, Togo to the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south. The word Ghana means "Warrior King," and was the source of the name "Guinea" (via French Guinoye), which has been used to refer to the West African coast (reflected in the Gulf of Guinea).

  • Ghana was inhabited in pre-colonial times by a number of ancient kingdoms, including the Ga-Daŋmes on the eastern coast, the inland Ashanti Empire and various Fante and Ewe states along the coast and inland. Trade with European states flourished after contact with the Portuguese in the 15th century, and the British established a crown colony, Gold Coast, in 1874.

  • The Gold Coast achieved independence from the United Kingdom in 1957, becoming the first Sub-Saharan African nation to do so, and the name Ghana was chosen for the new nation to reflect the ancient Empire of Ghana, which once extended throughout much of western Africa. Ghana is a member of many international organisations including the Commonwealth of Nations, the Economic Community of West African States, the African Union and the United Nations.

  • Well, Nkrumah was betrayed by his own countrymen due to influence from outside. Declassified documents by the CIA confirms what many have suspected for decades. Nkrumah after beginning to be "friendly" with the Soviet Union prompted the CIA to disrupt Ghana.

  • Peasah2005,God bless you my brother.Today is my very first time to see and hera Nkrumah speaking, this man was more than the word hero.I wish our leaders today in Africa would catch this same vision just like Dr Nkrumah did, African we have suffered alot and we are still suffering.Mob Marly back in those days was crying and calling on Africans to unite for the benefit of our childrens and our children childrens. We need leaders like Gadaffi in the entire Africa, who would not listen to oyibos.

  • In all sincereity, one can not but agree with whatever you are saying, Actiongroupa and Afroman1. The AU member states citizens are being threated like a bunch of woods, trees and animals in the so called "project of the United State of Africa or the Unification of Africa". Only the 53 leaders vote on everything at the AU and the so called activites are not helping us all. What is stoping the remaining 850 million people expressing themselves by the ballot box on their choice of AUC Cahirperson?

  • The United States of Africa and the idea behind the name is seem to be eluding a lot of Africans, even among the advocates. The Great Kwame Nkrumah is only refering to an idea of a federated strong Africa that shall be in a position to defend her self. He is now dead and gone and here we are suffering from the hungover rather than using our own common sense. What kind of the United State of Africa are we planning for without the people of member states voting? The people, 850 million, must vote!

  • For how long are we going to be talking about a United State of Africa, when the people do not vote directly for the Chairperson of the AU Commission? Dr. Jean Ping was only voted by the 53 leaders while the remaining 850 million population of the AU are being threated like subjects. Is this AU about all the citizens of the AU member states or only the 53 leaders and their collaborators? Why are we not seeing that this is the only thing the AU has not done? The People's Union, the people's vote.

  • Having described the AU as a failure, Gaddafi has asserted that only a true pan-African state can provide stability and wealth to Africa. A number of senior AU members also support the proposed federation, believing that it could bring peace to a 'new' Africa.

  • Alpha Oumar Konare, former President of Mali and Chairman of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights, expressed his strong support for the US of Africa concept at the commemoration of Africa Day, on May 25, 2006.

  • Please, Hosea22, Pro. Alpha Omar Konare was the Chairperson of the AU Commission which is the administrative organ of the AU. Again, the 25 of May is not Africa Day but the African Union Day. Again understand that there is a difference btn Africa which includes Morrocca and the AU which does not include Morroco. Africa is a land while the AU is a governmental instn. of all the people and governments of the AU member states. Let the people vote at the AU!

  • Libyan leader, Muammar al-Gaddafi, who is the 2009 Chairperson of the African Union, has advanced the idea of a United States of Africa at three regional African summits: in Lomé, Togo in 2000; in June 2007 in Conakry, Guinea; and again in February 2009 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

  • Comment removed

  • The United States of Africa is the name proposed for the concept of a federation of the 53 sovereign states on the African continent, with an estimated 2,000 languages. The United States of Africa, if created, would share the acronym "U.S.A." with the United States of America.

  • "The United States of Africa if created" by who? Is Ghadaffi, Mousaveni and A. O. Konare and Obassanjo, the only people we have in Africa for whom the AU is being created? What about the remaining 850 million people that makes up the AU? What about you? Don't you think every one of the 850 million people of all the AU memebr states/countries will make a lot of difference in deciding the direction the AU will be going? We'r all important and let this be about all of us, not just some few people!

  • Thats My Great Uncle

  • Watch out for the Chinese !...

  • United States of Africa, all Unite the mother land and it's people in the diaspora like the Jews did with Israel.

  • You are the most amazing, visionary African leader to ever live on this planet. With Lybian Murmar Quadafi as head of AU right now, maybe, just maybe your dreams, your vision will come to pass. Hail to Nkrumah! Hail to Nkrumah!

  • Did Africans take Arabs into notice or they are just ignoring the fact that Africans are maltreated in North African occupied by Arabs? Arabs want a sharia law system and that can't be a way for Africa at all cause their cultures collectively are different from the Arab's. This union has happened before it lead to the downfall of Africa totally. People who don't know history are bound to repeat it. Anyone who know the true history of Spain will know what I'm talking about. They'll betray again!!

  • Usa :D united states of amerika

Usa :) united states of africa :D:D:

  • The racists will never want to see Afrika achieve anything. God bless nkrumah, kenyatta, abdel nasser, djawara, sekou tourre, lumumba and etc.

  • handsomeboy

To hell with these moronic beasts, Africans will always rise because that's what our heroes inspired us to do.

Also, we thank God that we had Bantu Steve Biko, Kwame Ture, Samora Machel, Thomas Sankara, Amilcar Cabral, Mangliso Robert Sobuwke, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Robert Mugabe, Winnie Mandela and Lepold Senghor.

These ugly vomits can go to hell for all I care and long live our great freedom heroes and sheroes.

  • gotta to do a project on tis guy*****^_^

  • Africa is for africans and europe is for european.Africa don't own any thing in europe so it should be vice versa.Nkrumah our hero

  • Is this what Nkrumah being our hero all about? Is it about leaving in this day and age with only 53 heads of member states of the AU voting while the 850 million remaining people of the AU sitting down without a vote by each? Is this what Nkrumah and his fellow freedom fighter fought and died for? Our true heros should not be the men that died on the way to freedom but the ones that eventually took us there! Let us fight on for everyone's vote and make more real heros of Africa!

  • As an African student who studied in the USA and currently studying in Europe, I strongly believe Nkrumah vision on African Unification was the best for Africa. EU is using Nkrumah vision.

  • @Seltue12 i agree with you , i live in europe and i had the same feeling that EU is using Nkurumah vision.

  • @Seltue12 Aslong as it's done properly and not like the EU, which based on neoliberal policies and not a strong welfare state with humanist ideals!

  • I hate to say it, but Africa needs another Rawlings like leader, who is not interested in power but freedom and justice even by way of the gun. nothing comes easy

  • So nothing else matters ?? Rawlings did well but there were a lot of discrepancies too. Human rights should also matter

  • No I said 'nothing comes easy' and I agree there were decrepancies. I am also a strong believer in real human rights. the right to eat, have clean drinking water, and know that you can go sumwhere in life. doing away with people who want to stop the people from having this, to me is not an abuse of human rights

  • Rawling was a dictator. Africa is way better of then Rawling been head of state of Ghana.

  • Why can you not understand the difference between when people are talking about Ghana and when they are talking about Africa? Rawlings is about Ghana and its local politics but the issue people are discursing here is about Africa, the AU. Stop that Ghanaian nonsense and talk about Africa as solving the problem of the AU will automatically solve the problem of Ghana. Talk Africa man!

  • Rawlings is more than a dictator, he's a mass murderer.

Rawlings didn't do anything to make Ghana a safe country, because he was just totally evil to the core.

  • Africans are most intelligent on planet than White Europeans cos Whites visited Africa but Africans dont cos Africans been centuries on the earth they been around the world before White Europe turns violence and learnt from em then return to Europe to created White Supremacy!

  • Do you know why White man created "USA" cos they think they are clever nah! Cos Africa were the rule the world cos of harmony, where first humans born there and land of the all creatures, Birth of Life Giver.

  • I mean why USA? cos whites knew Africa is one of richest nation with great natural resources..That's truth cos you can ask the White man why they called "Africa" cos Af 'rich' a continent for real.

  • Lol...Europeans are not interested in destroying Africa.Africa will destroy itself.

Europe will not bother about Africans with arms, because they will kill their fellow citizens with it.Everyone's tired of Africa's stupidity!Look at sudanese, fighting and behaving like goats just to entertain the western world.

  • You are wrong. You are blinded by the media propaganda..but I won´t bother to educate you because it takes being a true African(not traitors) to understanding the real problems on the continent..

If you know the atrocities committed by the West/Allies in Africa, you wouldn´t even dare to leave such comments or mentioning Sudan..but its ok, because you only listen to a one sided story of the gagged media...

  • Then ALL europeans, including afrikaners, should get themselves OUT of africa NOW.That means, take your porn, homos, abortionists, diseases and bring them back to EUROPE. Leave the natural resources to the africans.TRUST me, this would mean bliss.

  • true talk

  • There is nothing racist about this. You have to understand the times this guys was speaking in - historical relativism. IT was a time of racial segregation and humilation of the black in the Americas, it was a time when being black meant being inferior. He had to grow nationalism. Today, with all of those forgiven we can live with the whites but do not project todays imagery on yesterdays world.

  • KKalison - you don't have to explain anything to this guy. We don't owe him an explanation. And what we do is our business. What business does he have with our affairs. That has been our problem for the last 5 centuries, this guy and his kind. And as far as living with whites, we've been there and done that and it doesn't work unless you agree with living under white supremacy and white racism.

  • i also think you misunderstand the comment, the comment is against imperialism, remeber that most of the resources in africa is owned by europeans, that is how they exploit africa, it is against neo-colonialism. by the way mandela is good, but blacks in south africa are worse off than Ghanaian, the white minority get everything.

  • Considering the eventual collapse and fall of western civilization, that's not a bad idea for black people.

Knowledge is power, not education. The world has had enough of western so-called education. We don't need anymore programming or mental training of western imperialism. And Nelson Mandela is no more than a puppet for the powers that be. Just ask his ex-wife.

Western imperialism and white supremacy are going to fall with the collapse of western civilization. And its about time.

  • Please be reminded that this is not about "the black people" but about the people currently resident and born on the land of Africa. You can choose to wallow in your "black and white" business that hasd always returned us back to the imperialists and the colonialists. The AU is about the people currently on the land of Africa fighting for justice the way they see it, withour the imperialists interferance. We know what we want and that is what we shall get.

  • Lol you really need to research the African Union more and also reaseach the term the African Diaspora and see who invented the term.

  • Sounds like some white supremacist b.s. to me. Of course Europe doesn't want to destroy Africa. They just want Africans out of the way so they can have full free access to the natural resources that is still making Europe and the US 1st world countries. Without it Africans don't have to go to war with the white man. Europe and US will eventually run out of resources and fall on its ass. The white man cannot exist without exploitation of Africa's wealth...LOL.

  • racist nutcase

  • Funkyinlondon - why... because it's the truth and the black man is no longer willing to be the white mans friend. If you don't like it why the hell are you on a YouTube page about the United States of Africa? That's your problem, you always want to stick your noise where you don't belong. And for your information mister, black people don't have the power to be racist. You people have caused enough problems in Africa since Colonization. Get over it, we don't want to deal with you anymore.

  • preach brotha!

  • i am nigerian from igbo ,love kwame nkrumes vision for africa ,he is my hero who forsee unity of africa and urgent important earliest time before any african of these present day stupid leaders.dummy brain leaders of africa shame on yall, copy ghanians please,if ghana have half wealth worth nigeria have today they change africa period.

  • AFICA UNION WILL COME, I know it is the threat for rich countries.

  • Resources first I supply weapons to both sides, I make ethnic differences bigger. I take the resources produce goods and sell them back to the people who say. Stop blaiming europeans during the 90's EU particularly German companies. Made a fortune from Gongo while Africans were killed the same situation is being replicated in Iraq and soon Iran. I don't see anyone bleating "Don't blame Europeans" sick of. Badly read house niggers speaking as if they know, no one has answers so how do they?

  • True African pioneer. RIP

  • Having lived in Tripoli I can attest to what I saw on a daily basis. If you are asserting Africa is not in dire straits then you are deluding yourself. Forget the U.S. media all you have to do is read U.N. reports and what

global N.G.O.s have to say about the situation

Or just read the statistics in relation to global economies. But my earlier statement is the point, although certainly a factor,neo-colonialism is not the only nor the main reason for Africas distress.

  • It's so tragic ... NOW what's left of this great African liberation? Many states in Africa traded it's white colonial masters for even cruler black masters who have no respect for life or human rights. The worst is that they have become experts in manipulating the masses via the controlled media into thinking that the West is to blame for their misery and suffering...

  • of course the west is to blame, don't act like u never heard of neo colonialism !

  • Makes it easy doesn't it? Just blame the west

and never even mention the corrupt, homicidal,

sociopaths that commit genocide on their own peoples. The whole continent is at the mercy of western capitalist. Nevermind that they expelled every westerner and took their business and then proceeded to run it into the ground. I don't claim to know how to fix

it, but by continuing to blame westerners your

just making excuses for inept and corrupt administrations to continue to subjegate its people.

  • Oh yea....why not?? Afterall, if we try to seek independence of thought and way of life, we shall all be tagged as maybe terrorists and be bombed and occupied like Iraq. We know you more than you think we do...We all agree that its better to shut up in poverty than to speak up and be nuked like Hiroshima......

  • I hope you are being sarcstic and that you don't REALLY believe that b******t? I'm an Arican born and bred who travels all over this continent, and I can say you have to be really dumb or hardup to find excuses for your own incompetance to still believe the West is to blame for our mess?! Africa will NEVER be free as long as we are slaves of our own ignorance which prevents us from taking responsability for this crap we're in and finding POSITIVE sollutions for Africa's problems!

  • On another note...did u read my comments well?? Or were they too complex for your understanding?? Tell you what....the continent belongs to us and if you think that there is something wrong with it, CHANGE IT!!..Its as simple as that...You keep talking trash like you are a foreigner...The land is yours...change it if you think you can do better..We are all trying but until we define our own unique ways of doing things rather than copying the Europeans...We shall continue to live like slaves..

  • Hey Antseif - why do you get all defensive and insulting when someone like Bongo points out the weaknesses in your arguments. I dunno about everyone else, but I don't see anything "complex" in your arguments, on the contrary, they're the same stupid rhetoric that every so-called African "liberator" (read: potential dictator) uses to avoid the real issues which are keeping Africa back. I agree with Bongo: stop blaming Europeans and make a positive contribution to solve Africa's crisis!

  • There is no good in Europeans,('Whites' pink. yellow , whatever) they are the most selfish evil cretures on earth!

  • Errrmm....what are you implying?? That it would be better off for Africa under colonialism??? I beg to differ!! This is a pure racist and eurocentric thought....Guess afterall....you still think Europeanism is the way forward for all mankind...huh?? Sorry buddy....but people love freedom...Its even better to live under slavery by our own beings than the European........

  • I imply nothing. I was only replying to the charge that neo-colonialism is to blame for the mess Africa has become. One day(soon hopefully)someone will arise to unite and lead these people to decent life, instead of lining their pockets and abusing their citizens. It will take an African, not a westerner, who will see beyond himself and today for a better tommorow. This has nothing to do with race, it has everything to do with practicly a whole continent mired in grinding poverty and disease.

  • Vick! I would advise u 2 travel a little; maybe visit two African countries. It is only on that basis that you can make statements such as above on the people in that continent. Your views or comments are full of ignorance and only based on what the media and government wants you to believe. I pity people like you b'cos u've been made 2 strongly believe in what u're fed on a daily basis. Read from independent sources nd travel around the world-its only on that basis that u'll know what is true.

  • You've made the most correct statement concerning the need for an all-african union government (Pan-Africanism) than anyone else on this page. You seem to...GET IT.

  • Antseif- Do you REALLY believe this s***? I'm an Arican born & bred who travels all over the continent & I can say u have to be really dumb or hardup to find excuses for your own incompetance if u still claim & believe that Europeans are to blame for Africa's crap?

Africa will NEVER be free as long as we are slaves of our own ignorance which prevents us from taking responsability for our own lives. We need to stop blameshifting & start finding POSITIVE sollutions for Africa's problems, bro!

  • you said it right.

we keep blaming the others, our leaders leaders should be responsible...a take their responsibilities appropriately.

  • The mistake Nkrumah made was that he chosed soviet style socialism. This was alien to indigenous African culture. Indigenous Africans had economies based more on free markets and trade. Their economies weren't controlled by their chiefs like they were under socialist central planners. Indigenous Africans also had various forms of democracy not one-party states. These traditional economic and political approaches should have served as an influence on these newly independent countries.

  • @canito raver, you're so stupid - why are you even here, if not to ogle at African marvelousness. You couldn't stop yourself.

Africans learned to speak before you did, fye, anyway. Now crawl away.

  • Isn't Africa in a constant civil war against themselves and rebels?

  • WHO SELLS ARMS and produces problems?

  • Rebels, terrorist, black market arms dealers?

  • STAR WAR GAMERS MAYBE ?

  • No, I doubt it. Too busy playing games to sell stuff :)

  • Oh yea...but you know...we don't produce and sell arms....

  • I was more referring to the Rebels who cause wars for no reason.

  • Long Live Africa, Long Live Ghana.

Africa is bond to be peace and Unity

  • excellent job!

  • I'd like to see the whole conference if it was taped like this brief piece was.

The All-African People's Conference was held in December of 1958, Accra. "Representatives from 62 African nationalist organizations attended and discussed the various aspects of the liberation movement. The organization of unitary action between African political movements was launched." Kwame Nkrumah- Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare, p 31.

  • By the way Patrice Lumumba was in attendence at the conference as well.

  • Your a dick! I've heard exactly the same insult in another blogg, turn down African resources. See how far you get you decendent of murderering white milk smelling hairy apes.
