sibelius is the most annoying stressful and stupid thing when you start out but after a while when you get used to it its great!

no frustration for me with Sibelius. much more intuitive than finale. very glad I switched. And, if nothing else, when you change the score, you change the parts. With Finale I used to have to re-make the parts everytime I changed someone's part. boo.

Finale was the first composition software I used, so I prefer it over sibelius. I tried using sibelius, but I prefer finale in many different ways.

How do you get cymbals for the drums? my Sibelius doesn't have them

to get the cymbals on the drums you need to change the heads to the cross. Do thins by selecting your note then pressing alt-shift-1 on windows and apple-shift-1 on mac.

you know you can spruce up that drum part a bit with actual cross heads. You may already know this now, but if you hit ctrl + alt + P and then click the noteheads tab of the menu that pops up, you can change the noteheads and have the cymbal part at the top where it's supposed to be with the proper crossed notehead.
