The Enneagram is bogus. The only reason why it "works" for some is that, like anything out there, there is some truth to it. If anyone wants to know the real history behind it and why it's bogus, check out the article from Fr. Mitch Pacwa titled "Enneagram: A Modern Myth". He gives names behind it's creation and uses sound reasoning to debunk it. I would encourage all to read it. The article is available for free on the internet.
This guy definately expresses himself like an ENFP, though he has the stereotypical "scientist" look of an Introverted Judger. He has the outwardly expressed vibe of an artist/performer -- characteristic of an Extroverted Perceiver.
I scored evenly as both a Type 2 and a Type 5 (86% each). My MBTI is INTJ which corresponds with Type 5 but contradicts Type 2. I'm definately a giver, not a taker, but I know for sure that my motivations have nothing to do with giving in order to get. But then, there's nothing wrong with expecting to receive one's fair share. "Treat others as you would HAVE THEM treat you," after all. Type 2 corresponds with the ENFP personality.
