well i have it set on the hardest difficulty, Bad idea, but everytime i make it to this effin stage. this stage is impossible the rat is way to fas and appeers closer to bomb. if u havent noticed if u keep getting lives when you have alll 5 u get more and it will go nonstop. its not a cheat.

if you do many hit's in the falling, speed falling will very very fast!!!!! You can try it on (1:25) or (2:16). Will be greate effect !!!!!

The Nes version is harder. IF you were going the speed YOU did in the NES game you wouldn't have made it past that third rat. You would have been close......but not fast enough. How do I know this? Cause I beat BattleToads all the time on NES and the rats are faster. Still, you did okay.

yeah the 3rd rat is always faster. you can't hit him like that in the genesis version.

@majin0buu The fact the composer (David Wise) had a much more powerful system with more sound channels and better processing is showcased quite clearly. The Genesis was not an automatic better sounding system, it took effort to get clean music from the get go. As far as aesthetic is concerned, it's subjective. I happen to think the music is more dynamic on Genesis over NES for Battletoads. That doesn't mean NES I dislike, I just think it's limited thanks to the hardware.

In fact, it seems the Mega Drive version designers mistook him for a pig, because that's what he actually looks in here. I wonder why they didn't leave him as he originally was (Big Blag and Robo Manus stayed the same, and even the Dark Queen got better).
