@eg463665 This clip was actually added in to and already existing 1981 Arena BBC documentary of George Martin which was re-aired with upgraded interviews and clips early 2011. I have the full original 1981 version on VHS and the new one on my HDD.
for the sake of history...because the beatles music will live on and on and on....they need to film as much as they can of george martin and paul and ringo chatting away...ten one hour shows..covering the entire beatle period...what i see in this clip is priceless and others from this same show....please film more and more....
Paul and George Martin maintained their close personal friendship after the Beatles ended. But Paul did do one thing that irritated George in the mid-80's: he taught a young Giles Martin some guitar chords That was the LAST thing George wanted for his son! But after awhile George gave his blessings to his son's career in music. Today, Giles Martin is a well regarded producer in his own right.
Oh c'mon Paul, the different Colour glasses for inspiration? Truth be told, George Martin was like the Dad or the School Master, and you guys were attempting to hide being stoned..in the old days you told truthful stories, now to preserve the legend, you seem to white wash everything.
@KenBSpencer They were saying these things with a nod and a wink much of the time. Everything has been said so many times before, they know the whole world has already heard all the stories. This actualy had some new information.
