One of the things that I love about EJ is that while his voice has sadly shown some wear with time, that his music has evolved around it and kept his wonderful creativity fully intact. In concert he's programmed most of the older songs but with transposition and kept from becoming a parody of himself in the 70s. On his albums the less acrobatic vocal writing has gained him a new audience & kept the old one. What a brilliant and inspired man, may the sun never go down on EJ.

I lost my sister on 8/16/2011, just nine days after this video was uploaded. As kids, she was the one who introduced Elton John's music into my life and I truly wish I were able to tell her about this phenomenal clip with her. I have a feeling she's still able to watch it in spirit. Thank you so much for this great & moving performance by Elton.
